"Garland Greene is an essential character in the American action film Con Air, which was released in 1997. He is a notorious serial murderer who gets carried onto the Jailbird jail transfer plane with a number of other convicts and is feared by everybody except Cyrus Grissom."
Con Air (1997) - Cameron Poe is a renowned military officer who is sentenced to jail for murdering a man while defending his wife. He is given release seven years later. He gets placed aboard an aircraft with numerous other prisoners. Everything appears to be going nicely until one of the inmates, Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom, gets out and takes control of the jet.

TRIVIA: For this role, Steve Buscemi and director Simon West studied the following serial killers and incorporated many of their characteristics into the character:
- Ed Gein - butchering corpses and keeping dismembered body parts, wearing clothing or headwear made from human flesh and other body parts
- Ted Bundy - Homicidal tendencies, driving through states to avoid law enforcement
- Charles Manson - murderous instincts and cult personality
- Jeffrey Dahmer - Calm demeanor and insanity
- John Wayne Gacy - child murder (Garland mentioned driving through states wearing a young girl's head as a hat and while it alludes to Gein and Bundy, the death of the said girl at such age references Gacy murdering children)

I agree that he has all those characteristics, but you're missing an additional very important one; he has the intelligence and introspection of Edmund Kemper to recognise himself for what he is. When he tells the little girl he's sick and there's no cure for what's wrong with him, that's an important distinction from all the others.
