I’m full Filipina but I don’t speak or understand Tagalog. My dad never taught me the language. I only know some basics words but that’s it. I always feel so bad when I can’t understand what they r saying, so I always have to ask for a translation. But their English is pretty good.

M Roq omg me too! I’m not full Filipina but I’m half and we are really close with my Filipino side. I’m actually learning Tagalog through this app called Drops. And trust me, I’ve tried MANY apps for learning Tagalog and this has worked wonders for me so far.

I totally understand going out and seeing them. I can't see my grandma because she is working with covid patients. And my Nana is dealing with cancer right now so i can't really go to her that often. I don't really know much about it, but my mom said she is doing a lot better. i really miss them
