Post Climbing Cooldown: 11 Stretches to do after you climb

  • Depending on what you’re climbing will also determine what stretches you need to do, but here is a good general stretch program that I like to do within an hour after my climb. I say an hour b/c it’s the most effective to stretch within 1hr after you climb, if you wait a little longer just make sure you aren’t too cold before you stretch.
    Forearm Extension
    External Rotation
    Other Wrist rotations
    Eagle Arms
    Thread the needle
    Scorpion
    ½ Squat Hip Stretch
    ½ kneeling quad stretch
    90/90 hip stretch
    Hamstring Stretch
    Childspose w/ finger reach
