@@goldgamercommenting2990if you are saying that the teeth of t-rex are bladed, this is completely false. The rear ones are basically circle shaped while the front ones are more D shaped. This was to compensate for the extreme bite force of the trex which is estimated to be over 30,000 newtons. Comparatively the giganotosaurus, who actually has blade-like teeth, has a much weaker 18,000 newtons of bite force. Sorry for the long comment, i really like dinosaurs.

Just hoping it leans more into horror. The series is sorely lacking in a horror element to its movies. And when they do lean a little into it. They are always the best scenes. Just gimmie a whole movie like that

Couldnt agree more, whilst I actually quite enjoyed the World trillogy, even though it was more family friendly, the series needs to go back to its roots. The trouble with World was that it simply wasnt scary and didnt feel very Jurassic, enjoyable, but not scary, Jurassic or suspensful, even JP3 had more suspense but yeah, Edwards is the perfect fit to shoot this new movie, cannot wait!!

@@RishalDayal tbh, i dont really think so, i feel like they should but if spino was in a movie it would be in fallen kingdom, and because it wasnt in that OR dominon, i have no hope for spino coming back but i really hope he does.
it should have a sense of scale at least. Edward's is great at that.

I didn’t start paying attention to directors of films until 2014’s Godzilla , so I have Gareth Edwards to thank for that !! And yes he is also one of my top favorite directors !!!!
I genuinely hope Gareth Edwards has a smoother time in Jurassic 7 than he did in Rogue One.

Jurassic Park is a human based drama, there’s only a few minutes of actual dinosaurs. Same goes for Godzilla 2014.

They can release as many Jurassic movies as they want. I will continue to watch them. I do not care, dinosaurs are enormously based.

I still think its an absolute crime that there hasnt been a teiceratops or stegosaurus fight against a carnivore in the movies. Sure the anky fought the indominus for 2 seconds and the brief carno fight in FK, but they tend to focus carni v carni. Lets get some herbi v carni

@luck.667 oh I've seen it. I was mainly talking about MOVIE fights and the lack of herbivores. We almost never see carnivores hunting or fighting herbivores which should be common considering that's kinda how dinosaurs operate
i love that gareth edwards is back doing big budget movies.
After hearing the announcement that Gareth Edwards, the same man who directed my fav. american Godzilla film, the 2014 Godzilla, Rogue One, and The Creator, is going to helm Jurassic World 4, with a screenplay by David Koepp (who wrote the original two films, Spider man, Death becomes her, Panic room, Mission Impossible, etc.), with Scarlett Johansson in the lead role, i have better hopes for the film. I wasn't a big fan of either fallen kingdom or dominion, and knowing this film ignores (but doesn't retcon) those two, hopefully it turns out differently and delivers on something that i would've personally loved to have seen in the Jurassic World trilogy.
A private hunting preserve of de-extinct dinosaurs...something Lewis Dodgson from Crichton's _"The Lost World"_ novel actually discussed early on in the book. So now this has got me wondering too (🤔)...
Gareth Edwards ... alright ... so we're back to 7 minutes of dinosaurs per movie.
Which means that the studio will be pissed off, changes the ending and we get a tacked on "finale" where the T-Rex beats up the monster of the week.
Mark my words.

Gareth Edwards, biggest strength as a filmmaker is that he knows how to make things look big. So he’s a perfect fit for a movie about giant bird lizards eating people

I wouldn't be interested in this movie at all if weren't for the fact that Gareth Edwards was helming the project. Dude really knows how to elevate the work. And with Koepp writing the story, this could potentially be the best JP/JW movie since the original.
I'm still pretty wary of this. The last two movies burned me pretty bad and given how Universal as a tendency to play things safe and unambitious, I have little faith in this. Besides, JA Bayona wanted a bold and semi-artsy direction for Fallen Kingdom but Universal forced a dumb bombastic tone which resulted in a tonal mess. Why should I think this wouldn't happen again?
Me too. Not getting my hopes up until I actually watch this movie. But I will say, Fallen Kingdom - despite it's flaws - I think still pretty good and underrated, I like to compare it to The Lost World when it came out. It didn't recejve praise like it's predecessor, but time foward and we love the movie. But Dominion is a mess - they had something great to work on and just beefed real hard (I like to think they could just have had a two part movie - part one about the problems of dinos in mainland and people trying to coexist, part two biosyn pulling the strings and the characters trying to stop them
@@VictorHugo-bm4ui Dominion was stuck with a bad concept and made it worse by giving us a Disneyfied solution. Sorry, but the ecological devastation the dinosaurs would overall cause worldwide would force mankind to wipe them out, provided big game hunters/pouchers didn't do it first. Yet, Dominion made it were they, nature, and man would live together in harmony, which was dumb beyond words.

@@VictorHugo-bm4ui To be brutally honest, I'm to the point where unless Spielberg steps down, then we will never get ANY good JP again. Just trash that panders to normies. In other words, you know how Paramount took away Gene Roddenberry's power away from him when it came to the original series movies and it proved to be for the best because of how he was to much of a zealot for the franchises own good? Well, this is that via Spielberg being to much of a pie-in-the-sky optimist. That and I honestly think he doesn't want anybody outright making a better JP/JW movie then any of his choices have.
Same. They don't seem to have a clue how to write an interesting story evolving the series with dinosaurs living amongst humans. The new movie sounds like they're going to just repeat what we've seen four times before already. A bunch of people stuck on an island with dinosaurs.

I was very fortunate to have seen Jurassic Park in theaters the day it came out. It was the first film I ever saw in theaters too. It unfortunately made me critical of so much garbage films that have come out since with bigger budgets. I really hope Jurassic Park gets done some justice it deserves. I've not enjoyed the last 3 films.

You got the prequel when the scientist explained how they got the DNA from mosquitos trapped in amber and then used frog DNA to fill in the missing markers. That was your prequel right there

It sounds like a predator movie and also an idea from the lost world novel, this idea was once suggested by Lewis Dodgson in the second novel and it's not crazy, if it's going to be like this I will love it very much.

A reboot, making JW non-canon? Gareth Edwards as the director? The writer of the original Jurassic Park as the writer? I’m super excited for this movie, could it maybe even stand to the original?
I’d like a prequel set between 2-3, but it does look like it’s definitely after dominion. I love Sorna and the abandoned facilities. But it could be anywhere. The CGI models are complete, but they’ve still to render those models into the movie etc. I am so excited to see what Edwards does with this and that Koepp’s script is as good as it’s been rumoured to be.
With someone a big fan of the OG JP I truly hope that this film is a return to form, giving great action in the context of a meaningful philosophical lesson. I think that's why the first JP was so widely loved, because it had something meaningful to say and the other films in the franchise didn't really hit that mark since. Hopefully with the director being a fan of the OG series and with other films like Godzilla: Minus One with a similar philosophical message doing great at the box office, JW4 (JP7) will pick up the mantel.
I know this is a MASSIVE stretch but imagine the red Rex from trespasser makes it in this film
Yo dangerville you going to do a video about the upcoming walking with dinosaurs series reboot that’s coming out next year possibly around the same time as Jurassic 7?!
An interesting concept that I feel could fit with all the puzzle pieces we have (although I think it’s unlikely because it doesn’t fit with the film’s continuity), it would be neat to see a film kinda like the original ending of the novel. Where dinosaurs got onto the mainland DURING the events of Jurassic Park, and the Coasta Rican government arrests Grant and the others that were on the island until it gets taken care of. I didn’t read the Lost World, but something like that would be neat.

Honestly, I love Scarlett Johansson. She's in my top like 5 favorite actors. Having David and Gareth involved gives me a good sense of the movies to come!
This film by the sounds of it looks like it going to be super awesome with a fantastic director, the return of a writer and a great film crew & actors. My sister is a big Jurassic Park fan as she been to see the first film and she will be amazed how good this new is going to be.

If the rex isnt gonna be in the movie or the small possibility based on where it is in the timeline then perhaps other large theropods could be used like mapusaurus, tyranotitan, and acrocanthosaurus or even saurophaginax. Torvosaurus would be a good addition to a movie as well.
Seeing new carnivores and herbivores would be awesome. Seeing larger theropods would be nice

I wasn’t enthusiastic at all before watching this but so far so good
I'm curious as to whether they are going to introduce any new species, like Jurassic World added 4 new species, Fallen Kingdom with 6 and Dominion I think 12. In this film, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing something like a Megaraptor, or potentially even a Deinocheirus, an Acrocanthosaurus or a Gorgonopsid like Inostrancevia.
