Harvey definitely loves his daddy’s voice! He’s so adorable, he looks like a porcelain doll! So in love with all the boys. They’re all so adorable
I love watching the baby trying to watch his Dad talking.
You two remind me of me and the love of my life. Pure love. Grow old together, always talk and even if you are upset with one another, hug and feel one another's heart beat and remember the time when you realized that you loved one another.
My son was a couple of weeks older than Harvy and Paxten, but he reached a point where his formula was not satisfying him, and he was crying just every little bit wanting to be fed again. I began putting a teaspoon of rice baby cereal in his formula. It was still thin enough to go through the nipple on his bottle with no problem, but it seemed to satisfy him. Sometimes when they're growing really fast, they just need a little something more.
That's exactly what I did when my kids were 5 wks they were feeding every 90min, so added a baby spoon rice cereal to formula, it really worked well. They went to 3 hrs!
Cereal is not nutrient dense. Don't and it to the bottle.
A growth spurt and needing to eat more often for a short time is normal. It will encourage more breast milk.
Exactly I also added rice cereal to my son's formula.
I did the same thing. It was much more satisfying.
Breastmilk is fully digested within a hour and half from start of a feed. It's normal for babies to cluster feed. It signals mom to make more milk. They will do this even if bottle fed or formula. Cereal has no nutritional value and will fill the belly without getting nutrients they need
It took me two weeks with my twins to potty train. I used a sit down in the kitchen area and a potty seat on the toilet. Every 15 - 20 minutes I put them on the potty and encouraged them to do their thing. You have to be consistent and not let up. I would make it a game of sorts and tell them to wave bye bye to the poop, etc. And tinkle tinkle, turning on the water in the sink, etc. When I had my twins I had an eighteen month old daughter still in diapers. She potty trained fast but I don't remember her as much as the twins. Of course that was 58 years ago.
Don't worry about getting up late - get sleep when you can for the first month or two. If you find you're not sleepy at night then time to be more firm.

That's why the goat babie wants (craves corn) All the animals do and just these past few sunless day, now dipping temps but the birds and squirrels demolished 20# of CORN so....I know big cold conditions are here and the corn is their survival diet. I've always supplied corn for our wildlife and they tell me the weather, lol It heats up their body... without it it's a sad cold struggle not freezing to death. Deer, cows, goats, all birds ...... etc

Years ago raising my daughter when she got to the point where formula wasn't satisfying her I started adding a small amount of rice cereal and bananas to her formula and it helped.

Since you have all boys get a stool they can stand on that’s solid so it won’t tilt over. Put 3 or 4 Cheerio’s in the toilet and play a game of sinking them cause they will float. It worked for me real well.💕
The way we potty trained our children was to find them a new healthy candy they liked but the only time they could have it was when they went to the bathroom and actually used their little potty chair. We also would give them a gold star that they could stick on a chart with 30 spaces. When the 30 spaces were full we would take them shopping and they could pick out a new toy. This was a great incentive for them and they not only were excited to about going they sometimes sat on their potty chair longer then need be just to see if they could go. It was so cute. And yes, Maverick is old enough to start training. Merry Christmas!
I understand how you feel about the construction. My sister and I love to cook. People are always saying we should open a restaurant or bakery, but we always say, " no, no, no. That would take all the joy out of it. We only cook for love." We enjoy so much sharing what we cook through out the neighborhood.

With my boys, I started potty training them in spring/summer. We lived in the country (ish), we were in the city limits, but had 28 acres. I taught them to go out to a tree and (water) the tree. Pooping in the potty was a little more complicated, they didn't understand why they couldn't do that on the trees also. We were told by the family Dr. to not even worry about potty training, with the grandbabies, until they were waking up dry 6 out of 7 days a week, then they are ready for it.

Every child is different. My girls were 9 months old, my son was 18 months old when done training. My grand kids were always over 2 years old. Lifestyle, time, make a huge impact on training.

Store bought eggs cause me some sensitivity, farm fresh eggs don't bother me. One of the problems is that the store bought eggs are washed, which causes them to loose the protective coating. That's why store bought eggs have to be refrigerated. Farm fresh eggs don't need to be refrigerated unless you wash them.
True, they just need a cool storage area. Not refrigerator cold. Just basement cool. Wash just before sell.

Definitely yes to raisins. As far as potty training, In my family, when a child wakes up with a dry diaper, it's time to potty train. My son was fully potty trained by two years old. Wasn't easy, but it was dang better than changing diapers....and buying diapers!
Their heads are soft and they can be shaped by how they laid in the womb. Now that the pressure is off it will take on a different shape. The fontanals have not yet closed over the brain on the top of their heads and that is why they have a soft spot. Don't worry. Time will take care of it.
Using a plastic sheeting taped on the inside of the walls will help with the cold barreling in when you change the windows. Mine was completely potty trained by 2 years old. The toilet target papers make it fun for them to destroy & helps them with the aim as they get older.
Both my boys were very close to three. I tried after they turned two, it made all of us frustrated. Three is the magic number. God bless.
My husband is from Duncan OK. When we married we lived in Dallas and would drive to Duncan at least once a month. We now live in Kentucky. My husbands parents have passed and we don’t go to Duncan anymore. I am from Kentucky and didn’t care for Dallas at all. We both love it in Kentucky.
My son's were 18 months potty trained. Just a note about gassy babies. If the twins are in cribs try raising the head of the mattress one notch higher than the foot. Keeps gasses moving.

Raisins are wonderful in cinnamon rolls. 🙂 Biscuits and gravy is easy; get the canned biscuits in the dairy section and there is canned or in a jar sausage gravy. You can make it quickly. A great meal! 🙂
The babies are doing a growth spurt! How wonderful, and yes gas can be a part of that hunger---are they doing good burps? Minnesota (west-central, heart of the lakes area!) is COLD---over 16 inches of snow in 4 days last week. Woke up to FROZEN PRESSURE tank again today. Space heater went out. In the last 2 to 3 years, I have bought more than 10 "milkhouse" heaters. You have my deep admiration for EVERYTHING you have happening/trying to do. I get frustrated, but GOD always provides!
Vermont has power outages all over. Our neighbors have power, but we are on day 3 without power or water. Thank God for our woodstove. At least we're not freezing
Marci, 3 ingredient biscuits for 2 people. 1cup self rising flour, 3/4 cup buttermilk or sour cream, butter. . Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Sift flour in bowl and make a well., mix in liquid. Stir well with fork until makes a ball. (May need to add a little more flour if too wet or a little more liquid if too dry.) Turn out on a floured cutting board or waxed paper. Knead 7 or 8 times only. Sprinkle with flour as needed. Pat out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut in squares or with a glass...flour the edge. Place on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degree oven till golden brown. Brush with melted butter and split open and butter the halves. Pour gravy on top. ENJOY! LUV ❤️ HUGS 🫂 AND PRAYERS 🙏 to THE E5 !!! KP
The head shapes because of head’s soft spot. It allows the head to shape itself.

Here in San Diego, CA I like having "Country Egg Benedict" You open a biscuit put a sausage patty on top and then add the poached eggs. Pour the gravy on and enjoy!
Sorry you are not getting enough sleep. That is how it goes with new babies in the house. You can stuff bell peppers with almost anything you like and top them with cheese or tomato sauce or both. I eat the whole thing.
A white rice and crumbled ground meat mix is good in stuffed peppers.
I love raisins in anything! We usually had pecans or walnuts in our cinnamon rolls.

I have 3 sons. I was a Navy wife, then a single mom for most of their growing years. Anyway, I didn’t push potty training. I decided when they were old enough, guess that should say, tall enough to stand up and pee, then I would start. Why? Because with no dad to help out I didn’t want to potty train twice. 🤷♀️. My mom informed me I was potty trained by the time I was one year old. “ONE” year! I used to tease her that’s what was wrong with me, traumatizing. 🤪🤪😂😂
I didn’t have twins but my first two, girls, were 15 months apart. Then 3 years and my next two, boys , were not quite 14 months apart. Then 7 more years and my next and last child. I fed all my kids “on demand”. You will find what works for you and the kids. Don’t stress.

To freeze an egg, you put the eggs into ice cube trays. Crack it open and put one egg into the cylinder. When frozen place into freezer bag and date them.
Eggs Goldenrod. Boil eggs, make white sauce. Shell the eggs. Take out yolk and put in bowl. Shred egg white with grater. Toast the bread. Place white sauce on top of toast. Put egg yolk thru a sieve and place over the white sauce on the toast.
My family ate this when the kids were growing up but we called it eggs a la goldenrod and sliced the eggs into the white sauce served over toast
I read this book called Toilet Training in less than a day. Fabulous tool. I tried potty training at 18mths he was not ready. So I tried again at 24 mths after seeing the signs. I day and done. It was written by two psychologist. I looked th hey sell it on Amazon ebay and thrift books.
My mother made those creamed Carmel's too!! We would all sit around and wrap them exactly the same way as your Mom did. Brings back good memories.

Marcy go to Walmart grocery store in the spices they have a package of pioneer gravy all you do is mix water with it boil it pull your stuff in there and it's ready to eat it is very very good it's called Pioneer gravy it's enough for two people my husband even thought I made it

Space heaters aren't safe is an old idea based on when they used to be made of metal then they had no shutoffs if they tipped. Now there's a concern with carbon monoxide but no more than an oven or a wood stove. Your biggest danger would likely be if Mav decided to play with cords of an electric one
One of my old neighbors burned her leg badly during a long power outage by falling asleep in a chair in front of her old space heater.
I always make the pop open cinnamon and orange glazed rolls Christmas morning. We usually eat the fruit from our stockings during the morning and the candy!!!! Then we have a very EARLY dinner. Probably because when I was growing up we couldn't open any gifts until after we ate a healthy breakfast!!!! I changed that rule in my house, it's only once a year!!!! YES Crandall with the Raisins!!!! Raisins in everything!!!! Yummy!!!! NY here again 💕

When my son was nursing I would keep him in the bassinet part of the pack n play next to my side of the bed so the night feeding were easier.
I do not like green bell peppers,so I only use red, yellow or orange bell peppers for my stuffed pepper recipes. I also stand them up and cut the tops off to stuff them.

I love my frontend washer, it was a lifesaver for having 3 kids. I also have this issue and have a thought that is a level issue or low water pressure that would close the close the valve but have not really had time to really look at, just move the clothes out quickly and make sure to leave the door open to keep from having other problems between loads.

If I have a big family to feed for breakfast I’ll do like breakfast tacos all you do is fry your bacon or sausage or whatever meat you like chop onions, bell pepper, red pepper (if you don’t like those don’t) cube potatoes are so good in there, cook till brown and then add eggs yummy. Get flour tortillas heat them! You can add anything else like cheese or sour cream! They are so good 😊
