Over a thousand horsepower, covered in machine guns, 10 second reload on a 130mm cannon, keeps up or passes light tanks on the battlefield, and has enough armor to take one to the face and keep chugging. The tank is as fantastic as you would expect. Sadly there is a hole where my soul used to be. I didn't think the grind could be as bad as people where predicting. I can tell you its every bit as bad as you can imagine and more. I can get behind an event that makes something rare and hard to get. Something for your die-hard players to chase after.... just don't kill your players in the process.

One of the primary reasons the IS-7 was not put into production was because it weighed 65 Tons. At that time they had a weight limit on how much a heavy tank should weigh and it missed that number by almost 10 tons. This tank survived the Jagdtigers 128mm cannon during testing but also was immune to its own 130mm cannon. 7 Built. 1 Burned Down. 1 left on display at the same museum with the Maus at Kubinka

There's actually some debate as to whether it actually weighs 65 tonnes. Some people believe that 65 tonnes was given in order to give it a better chance of being accepted into service. There's estimates out there that place the weight of the tank at around 80 tonnes.

Stop locust abuse today. Every day many of these poor locusts are dragged into higher tier battles by their “friends”. Once they enter the battle, they have to endure abuse from the enemies who tend to use them as toys, as their cannons can’t possibly penetrate the thick stalinium armor. This is normal for new tanks. Once people learn where to hit it it will die just like the IS6. I've already taken one out with my Tiger II

The fact that this is at 8.0 makes me feel incredibly sorry for the poor bastards who just unlocked their cent mk10 or Vickers mbt. Trying take out one of these monsters with a gun that you have to get on the side to have any real effect, when you're in a slower tank, is just going to be hell on earth
