Oni Lloyd's value is on the thinnest ice ever, a new polybag on a magazine with Lloyd wearing his golden armor torso and legs just dropped. Now the only thing of value is his helmet and mask. R.I.P

Yes just because the magazine polybag dropped, To buy the figure that came straight from the ultra golden dragon is still sitting at 30 plus dollars. Sure you can buy the legs and torso for a fairly reasonable price especially if you live internationally and don't have to pay shipping for that polybag but to get the complete figure is still somewhat expensive for most folks.
Hate those magazines you can’t even get them where I live and they ruin the value of minifigures I paid full price for from sets
@@trevor_4 I agree they're not the best thing in the world because yes they usually do ruin the price of figures and they are extremely difficult to get ahold of if they're not in your region I had to import my pack from Germany. I got a second so I could do a regular golden Lloyd and have the onI one as well. But in this case the magazine pack is not affecting the value of this one which honestly I'm kind of thankful for because I did spend the big bucks to get the dragon.

pretty insane how sellers tried to sell "rare" figures in the aftermarket to make them rare,
The rare figures I have in my collection are Akita, Kabuki Nya, Samukai, and NRG Jay.
I have half of the list, but didn’t get them because they were expensive, I just got them naturally
These are some really cool ninjago minifigures they all look great
At the moment I have the pythor and oni lloyd but I hope to get more in the future
Bought Killow (without the mask, with the back attachment) for 15 dollars. I don’t think the person who sold it to me knew the value, but it’s cool to see that I have at least one of these.
Man I bought NRG Cole for $9 at bricks and minifigs. I finally got my rvenge for all the times they've sold me a $2-3 minifig for the same price.
Edit: I also have Golden Techno Kai and Samukai.
Really great video nice showcase of our good old Ninjago figures collection and how expensive they are. Thanks for getting the prices accurately. I have seen a few videos recently where some people have really botched up the prices and some of them are just so out in the left field of being wrong it's frustrating. I am proud to say that I own 4 of the top 5 most expensive with the exception of the Overlord unfortunately. But a good number of the figures on this list I do own which I have to say I'm very thankful for, and as at the time of this comment I actually just got the Jay DX an NRG Jay figures. Which now my ninja figures collection with getting every canon to the show suit for all 6 ninja and Wu is finally complete which I am so grateful for.
I Like to think that The White Cryptor could be Like Cryptor's Snowsuit! But we all know what it actually is!
I missed out on the ice emperors castle due to it being too expensive for me, I really wish I could have gotten Akita hopefully she'll come back and get a new minifigure :(

These are Fangtom, Jay Dx, NRG Cole, Karlof, Oni Lloyd, Samukai, Acidicus, Akita and NRG Jay.
If you buy them in a used condition or their parts separately, you can actually get them for a pretty cheap price, for their price ratios.
Example: I bought the parts for my NRG Jay separately. The prices for his pieces were about 80cents to 2Euros, but his mask was about 10Euros. That made about 15Euros. Even though it still was pretty expensive for a Minifigure, I surely made profit, if you look at NRG Jay‘s usual prices.
But that won‘t always work.

Out of these most valuable Ninjago minifgures, Fangtom and Acidicus are the only ones that I still own.
Fangtom was once almost 100 bucks new and the most expensive minifig
Wow. Some of those prices are insane! I only have Fangtom and Acidicus. They were giving to me in a bulk collection of sets and I have cherished them and kept them safe ever since I found out about their prices. I knew Fangtom was expensive but I didn't know that about Acidicus.
I got both nrg jay and nrg Zane for 16 bucks recently, which was a great deal, except for jay's head, which turned out to be airjitzu jay's. But nonetheless that was still an awesome price and got me almost done with My nrg ninja collection, since i already had Cole and Kai
I got Jay DX off ebay for like ~$3 😳 (used, but perfect condition) Also, I couldve gotten Killow VS Samurai X, but got a different set instead and I regret it
i got my karlof figure a couple of moths ago and it was ent that expensive cuz his torso alone on bricklink goes for around 2 dollars and his other parts are pretty common and cheap
man seeing this makes me want to try and find my krux and acronix figures, since I had them but their lost somewhere

i really wanna pick up Akita sometime. I somehoe got my hands on samukai recently so i count myself lucky there.
From what I’ve been seeing around on eBay, it won’t be long till Oni Lloyd joins the list of most expensive Ninjago figures.
Already people are selling him for $50-$100 brand new. Part of the reason for this is most probably because the set he comes in, the golden ultra dragon set, hasn’t really been found in stores and can only be purchased online-at least from what I’ve seen.
Though the golden ultra dragon isn’t the only Crystallized set that’s hard/near impossible to find in stores. It’s like half the Crystallized wave only appears in stores while the other half can only be found online. It’s pretty weird. The most I’ve seen of Crystallized in stores, on average, is the Crystal King set, Jay’s dragon bike, Zane’s ice jet, and Kai’s golden dragon cruiser. Now, maybe LEGO has the other Crystallized sets at their LEGO stores, but those aren’t the easiest stores to just simply drive to if you don’t live around them.

The original golden ninja from 2013 goes for about 40 dollars used currently. I used to have 3 of them but I lost them all and it was so sad
I got killow in a 4$ bag at value village! unfortunately he doesn't have a head or his mask and both are very pricy. the mask alone sells for minimum 30$ in canada
I think I still have that Overlord minifigure, but I’m not sure where it is. Might have to look for it
I was able to get Akita (w/o the cape piece) from Lego bricks and pieces a few years back
what makes a minifigure “new” because you can’t buy the minifigures by themselves, does it just mean good condition

I think that they should make battle packs for the villains as that’s what I think we want a serpentine one for each tribe well the 4 that’s have more than one living member with the general and the 3 normal ones also a skulkin one with samukai and the other 3 generals and in their original designs with the heads and not the legacy ones

This is so sad. I had so many of these figures, now taken apart. I don't know where are the individual pieces, so I'll never make them.
I think its also depending on country because in Poland most expensive is lloyd dx worth 600 PLN (like 150$)
He was impossible for me to find back in the day. I ordered him 3 separate times back in 2012 from both the Lego store website and toys r us and had all 3 of my orders declined and refunded. I eventually found him complete out of the box with his spinner and crown, all weapons, and all cards in 2017 for only $40.

I got all the DX spinner ones except Zane and their spinners all in perfect quality but what does it mean new vs used because he’s out of his box and the box is gone but he’s never touched the light of day because I’ve kept him in the Ninjago mini figure spinner case that Lego sold for a while
