      @@Theundisputedelite and how much of that would have been understood at the age of 11!!!?? easy for you to say... they were mere kids from the same inner city area as me...they didnt stand a chance...those were different times being kids AND black was a struggle...the parents were naive yes but dont blame these kids...it al happened in a flash for them with zero guidance and everybody milking them dry

    • @Theundisputedelite
      @Theundisputedelite Před 2 lety +3

      @@SuperTaleba exactly! They were minors so it wasnt the kids faults it was the parents, theres a reason why these labels target minority groups in certain neighborhoods, because they know that they’re desperate for money and a better life, so they offer them a contract which offers them money but in reality it comes back to them at the end, thiis whats called a 360 deal, that is how they operate which is exactly why no matter what anyone says unless it written on a legally binding contract, it dont mean shit! The parents should’ve known better but one flash of dollar signs and they signed without even reading….

    The story of some of the members of this band is sad, Musical Youth is THE example of what child labor can do to people later in their lives, and of how stardom at a young age can ruin people. But I must honestly admit that their music was, and still is, the bomb. Mainly the first album. I still play that one very often!
