Chaos at Trans Am race Thunderhill

Chaotic couple of laps at Thunderhill. Chasing some TA2 cars with my GT class car. They have 400 pounds less weight and 100 pounds more horsepower, classic David and Goliath!  note one of the cars a pass on the uphill is shedding body parts that almost hits me I’ll OL!

This is just my cell phone on the windshield, kind of like the random effects it gives me lol. I do have Garmin, GoPro and a dash cam cranking out high-quality good images but I like this rough footage almost better.

I was there ands saw that. They should have stopped the race sooner in my opinion.

This was my 1st TA race so not sure the policy but I think they stopped it at 75 minutes. I think it's a 100 mile (35 laps) race or 75 mins, whichever comes 1st. I think it ended up being 32 laps iirc.
Fun fact: I am the only person to stop for fuel and still won my class (GT) and finished 4th overall amongst the TA2 cars. Worked out for me!
