Just bought the pop yesterday and drinking my first cup now. Such an upgrade from my Keurig mini. Btw, you can make a double espresso from the larger size pods by double clicking the brew button! This is true for all Vertuo machines.
What would the larger size pods be, coffee?

Nice review, thanks. I have owned a few Keurig machines ...my current one is the personal one cup at a time machine, which is perfect for me. I now keep it at the office. I am thinking about getting another machine to keep at home and maybe, just maybe will go for something different (Nespresso) hence my watching your video.

Nice review. I got the Vertuo Evoluo for a bday present in 2021. I was thinking about getting the Pop+ because I wanted to buy the larger capsules that can't be brewed in mine. However, I'm pretty happy with mine especially since I didn't have to pay for it.

Ours stopped working after 6 months, chip issue, nespresso swapped it over for a pre loved one just the same.

Pop and Next are only compatible with the Vertuo pods so I think you should go with one of the Original machines instead, sounds like it’ll suit you better 😄

I had an ordinary Nespresso machine for 8 years. But it stopped working correctly..leaking all over etc. So I bought a Vertuo Pop for me two days ago.
The coffee from my new Vertuo Pop is very good.
I have one concern however, after watching a Nespresso video on descaling the Vertuo Pop I am very confused/scared
Thats looks like a very complex procedure.
If I have watched that video earlier, I seriously wouldn't have bought the machine

I unfortunately don’t know any good videos! Maybe I’ll make one 😅 But yes it’s a weird procedure and they probably should’ve just added a descaling button like on the original machines
Maybe I’m misunderstanding but I’ve seen the usual Nespresso pods (the newer different shaped version) ones in grocery stores where I live. There’s not a huge selection but it’s nice there is other places to get them other than the original company website (especially since the grocery store has sales at times).

I just wanted to say ..that I came across your video review of the Vertuo Pop (I like espresso/lungo) so , the original line works for me 😊 but, the real reason I wanted to comment is that I am one of those people (like yourself) who drinks coffee for the flavor and not the caffeine … people think I’ll crazy .. so, it’s nice to hear someone saying that

I love the foam, too! James Hoffman, web super-coffee guy, did a hilarious review of Nespresso’s Vertuo line. He was suspicious about the foam, so he ran the coffee through a blender and got LOTS of foam. As a result, he thinks it’s just a cheap trick, but, I love the foam the way it comes out-and don’t have to put it in a blender!
I have to see that! 😂 no matter what the foam is just the best, it also makes the coffee look super appetizing!
I will need to call the help line. When it works it s wonderful. tried the help on internet. The water tan is full, the machine does not rescaling as it s b free and new and I use filtered water. Trouble shooter says it could be machine error or human error this needs more explanation. When it has worked it makes wonderful tasting coffee and in my Bodum mug is beautiful to look at, I

If you press the button again it will keep dispensing to give you more expresso and press again to stop it anytime. Also double press to get creation mode.

Ja, den grå maskine virker fint med de kapsler fra andres brands, som man kan købe i forskellige supermarkeder 👍🏼

Does pods come inside nespresso vertuo pop + box ?? Or buy separately i guess !
if you buy from Nepresso you will get a welcome box of coffees to sample. Besides that, yes you purchase separately
You can buy a kit to refill the pods and seal them again totally a money saver cuz the pods can get pricey add any coffee you like
This machine has an expert mode setting vs. the other vertuo machines. It's the only thing that is new imo. It's like a newer version of the Next.
How to use the mode？
My next has that function!
these can connect to the app, but I was surprised you can’t do anything with it? I was hoping at least to be able to start a descaling. doing it manually is a really weird combination of open/close/button/open/close/button/button that I have to read the manual every time as I forget
Yes, it’s completely useless. Or I read that it can help you keep track of how many pods you have left if you connect the machine to the Nespresso app on your phone. But I really don’t see how that would be helpful at all 😅 So it’s basically a useless feature as far as I know

The color is just called White on Nespresso’s (danish) site but it’s definitely not optic white! It has more of a creamy color I’d say
One con that didn’t get mentioned is the noise. It is noticeably much much louder and you can hear the pod rattling inside. :(
Ah yes! It actually is pretty loud which I imagine can be a problem if you need to get up early and other people in your household are still asleep. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard the pod rattling inside, I don’t think that’s supposed to happen?

I don’t think so, because the machine needs the pods to know how much water it has to dispense 😊

I wonder if third party manufacturers will ever be able to produce these pods. I hope so, it’s the only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger as of yet

Is this the verturo pop+
This is just the Vertuo Pop! The Pop+ has a bigger water tank (750 ml instead of 600 ml), bigger pod storage and can brew larger sized cups of coffee 😄

Yes. I got the reply as well from Nespresso. They state that their machines are from Swiss, China & Malaysia.

I’m pretty sure this is just called the Vertuo Pop in Denmark but I can see that there are other versions in other countries 🤔
The pop takes capsules not pods. Pods are for the first generation coffee maker.
I drink my coffee for the taste and not caffiene as well. I prefer decaf.

Coffee does not get hot enough. I can chug a cup down right away without burning my mouth at all.
Well, I mostly have iced lattes so I haven’t noticed this, but my husband sometimes used our Vertuo Pop and he has never mentioned that as a problem. I think it’s great that you can drink it right away and don’t have to wait for it to cool off 😊
I’ve learned that if you run it a few times it gets hotter.
I do like the machine but I use my Keurig for my travel mug as I have a long drive to work. Need that hot coffee here in the northeast
If you buy coffee pods for 40$ a month from nespresso. The starting price of the machine is not relevant.
Well, they make a lot of different Vertuo machines and the prices vary greatly. So if someone has decided that they want one despite the cost of the pods I’d argue that the price of the machine is relevant ☺️

I actually mention that the Vertuo is only compatible with Nespresso’s own pods, and not third party pods like the original Nespresso machines are. And I also mention that Nespresso’s own pods are more expensive than third party pods, so just to be fair, I have covered that the pods are expensive 😊

I love the long rant about how unbiased her opinion is and how there would be "no reason" for her to make a review that's not completely honest. Meanwhile there's a commission link in the video description that she makes money from if you use it to purchase a vertuo 🤦♂️
Lots of youtubers includes links of what's included in the video and earns money. Nobody works for free. Nobody is forced to buy. But if you do decide to purchase, as a thank you for her time to make the video, she has a right to collect incentives. Please don't think everything should be free.

It is unbiased. Nobody paid me to do this review and I’d never do a paid review and call it “a review” because that wouldn’t be a true review, that would just be advertisement and I wouldn’t be able to say what I actually mean. I’m a member of a platform where I can generate these links but I earn absolutely nothing from that link as long as nobody buys a machine 😊 It just increases my chance of earning something from my video and commission links are completely normal for content creators to use on any platform. If I hated the product I’d never include a commission link 😅
