If he is aware enough to know your range is capped to an overpair, I think you have to call with your blockers.
He's definetly capable of running a bluff here
I would have checked the flop, called turn with additional equity and folded to another river bet. As you played, fold river.

In that game, looks like you can raise the A4 boat on the end...if you meet extra resistance after that, reevaluate. 6's and 7's definitely not out of the question, but neither is a hand like 4567, etc (even though you have a 4).

Interesting to see $1-$1 action. Max UTG raise $4? Or you treating the $1-$1 as “$2” for $6 UTG pre-flop? I’ve seen it both ways just curious. Love your PLO content. Keep it up and the right answer for me is fold.
We do $4 raise. 3x the $1 plus $1
On the 774 rainbow flop when you have AA, unless you are up against a sophisticated player who is capable of a reverse float on the flop this is an easy fold. A reverse float is when your opponent calls out of position with very little on the flop and envisions a check/check on the turn and a river bluff. Not many of those player types in a 1-1 PLO game I reckon. He has a 7 (most likely) or hit a straight on on the river.

This is the one time I'm likely laying it down to the AAM (Aggressive Asian Male, just to be obvious) You have history with the guy and know his tendencies, but it just smells like he was hoping for a check raise on the turn. I think if it was an 8 on the river it definitely is a fold. Plus you have to let them get their bluff through occasionally so they'll keep doing it....for a 1-1 game it was already a huge pot I understand, but just my thoughts.

I'm located just outside Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, I'm a ways from the nearest casino, so I'm exclusively an online tournament player right now. However, there is a new casino opening closer to me with a big poker room, so hopefully, I can get into live play.
Love your videos and will always watch, but the hands at the lodge with hundreds and thousands of dollars on the line are much more interesting lol

@@PokerJeezus I believe he’s playing you not his cards. He is either waiting for a check raise on the turn or pull a big bluff on the River if his draws didn’t get there. If it was me, I willing to pay him to see what am I against with. But, it’s just me. I believe you would call him down as well.

Entirely player dependent. Against most low-stakes PLO players it's an easy fold. Against who I think this is against, it's a snap call and a perfectly played induced bluff, that occasionally he has it.
definitely a tough spot for me since this opponent is fully capable of running the bluff but could also have it here as well
