    NASCAR are you listening to what these guys are saying? You should hire Dale Jr right now. He gets what the fans and the teams want. He gets it. Listen to Chase, it is just like Saturday night short track racing! That is where your fan base is and what they like. Hello NASCAR, quit trying to make this something it is not, go back to what brought us all here.

    • @simivalleyparanormal1630
      @simivalleyparanormal1630 Před 4 lety +6

      I think they should qualify, but I agree with no practice, kind of the "run what ya brung" mentality. They can qualify the morning before the race and if you wreck it, back of field in your backup car. I'd love to see some of the old rules come back. Restarts leader to the inside and running order the rest of the way through the field, lapped cars in the back, no lucky dog. The guys up front ran hard to lap you, why should you just get it back or get to start up front. I know why they introduced the speed limit on pit road, but I would kind of like to see that go away or maybe only a penalty for, say 10 mph over the speed limit. Oh and get rid of the competition yellows, in fact I'd get rid of about half of the yellow flags, if the guys car is moving and he's down to the inside, let them race, and go back to a race can end under caution, why to many drivers have lost a race because of this and it's always funny how that one lone care loops around. I'm not big on cheating, but I can just see a big team going over and telling that 32nd place guy, bounce it off the wall and Santa might bring you a really fast motor for the next race.

    • @woofersd2383
      @woofersd2383 Před 4 lety

      Maybe do hot laps instead. 10 cars at a time, 5 laps, which also sets your qualifying speed.

    You really wanna make the races interesting? No practice, no qualifying, and the starting grid should be the entire finishing order of the previous race inverted... 40th previous race would start 1st and winner would start last. As for long term, I hope they condense the season to where the championship race is in August (before the NFL season starts). Race February thru August and do 2 Cup races per week (Sundays and Wednesday nights).

    I hope NASCAR will consider the feedback fans provide and weigh all options that will continue to provide exciting racing, lower the cost for competitors and maybe even level the playing field. The past few races have provided great data points to show there are benefits to shorter races, no or less practice, and mid week races. I buy tickets to races and sit in the stands. The NASCAR experience is more than enough for the hardcore fan who cares more about what happens on the track than all the events associated with the track. I understand it's a revenue thing, but overexposure and greed might ruin the whole product and continue to drive away long time fans. I know NASCAR is up to the challenge and will find a balance to keep the sport evolving in a way everyone will enjoy!
