4DX all the way!I loved getting sprayed with water and smelling the rain forest & ocean! It was absolutely packed both times I went, and EVERYONE was laughing and having a great time (you can’t fall asleep) It’s a must! I know most people might not have the luxury of having a 4DX theater and may have to travel to get the experience. But it’s worth it ( marvel movies are also a must in 4DX)
@@delonixregia11 you might’ve turned the water effects off that’s the only thing you can turn off. Or if you didn’t do that you might’ve not turned the button for water effects on , the controls were literally on the seat?

Both are awesome but IMAX 3D allows you to enjoy the film to the fullest extent and is the way that the film was meant to be seen.

Saw it for the first time in 3D-4DX and that was one of the most immersive experiences I have ever had in a theater. Went 2 days later and watched it in IMAX 3D. Great experience as well.

Guys, me and my girl just watched in 4d yesterday. Please don't watch it if you have motion sicknesses and also like everybody says it's a bit distracting for a first timer.
4DX FOR SURE, I saw the movie tdy itself in 4dx and I can tell u ki 4dx ka mazza aur kahi nahi aata, I mean u have sooo many effects and features ,it feels like u are present right there in the moment
Watching it in 4DX was an amazing experience. The chair moves and vibrates, for example it moves like you are on a smooth ride or it shakes if there is a fight scene. Also, water will spray at you or there will be a smell of flowers... The screen isn't as big compared to IMAX and I strongly suggest you sit in the middle if you can because there is a loud fan sound (for the breeze you will feel) which gets a little annoying. Overall, the best experience for first timers!
DOLBY 3D and that format was chosen for critic screenings. I am going IMAX for a 2nd viewing though and then back to Dolby for my 3rd and final viewing before its taken off those screens (Ant-man 3?)

So what i did was have my normal glasses on, put the 3d ones over them. But they had to he held up with my hand the whole time. So i just took my normal glasses off and suffered through a blurry movie

I want to take my mother for that movie, as imax was not available in our home town.

I didn't realize the colors weren't as vivid while I was watching, but I realized it afterwards when I watched some 2D clips on CZcams. I think your friend is right about watching in either IMAX or 2D.

We may not have this kind of experience for life with any other kind of movies. Also the glasses at imax are of different kind. The glasses are silver reflective mirrored and written "laser 3D" on them.
I saw it last night at a special underwater theatre where we had to put on scuba gear and watch the movie at the bottom of a gigantic swimming pool, and it was amazing, like It even had aquatic fish swimming around...the only downside tho was my popcorn was all soggy.
I watched it in 3D because the first avatar 3D was so mind blowing. This movie was equally as good for 3D, but I just don’t need it lol eyes eyes are so strained after
I watched twice in both cinema. Go with IMAX. It’s more relaxing. If you wonder how it smells like in 4DX.. well in the forest and in the water got the same smell. Something like purple orchid but sweet.
Here in Italy i watched it 3d but it was too dark and grainy, without the glasses was 100x times better because i could see the colors and the details much better
I'm pissed I didn't see this in 3d which is why I'm going to see it again believe me I would of but my family were seeing it and didn't like 3d and I prefer to see films with people because it's more enjoyable but man while watching it I was thinking this is going to look incredible in 3d cause the 48 frames it was shot in looks weird in 2d and really does stand out every now and then it didn't Ruin the experience cause the movie was still great but man I need to go again
iMax or Dolby. You have no idea what you missed out on. Just wait. Your family is crazy if they don’t like 3d movies. They obviously haven’t seen avatar like movie in imax or they wouldn’t say such nonsense. Go see it then tell them about it. They need to see it in 3d. It’s one of those lifetime things you have to experience.
