It's Evergreen,my parents are from Ondo and Ekiti always play this song when I was in pry school,I have learnt to love it forever and passing it to my kids too❤
Today makes it 10 years you are gone, rest easy Dr oladipupo owomoyela aka Orlando owoh.. The greatest Yoruba musician ever kenneri papi, baba orimipe.
VERY VERY VERY VERY....INSPIRED.....REMEMBERED WHEN MY PAPA DEY PLAY DIS SONG LIKE EARLY MORMOR WORSHIP SONG WITH THAT ROUND TURN TABLE....CHAIIIII.....ORLANDO THE FATHER GBOGBO KENERI....MY GUY PLAYED FOR HIM BEFORE HE DIED...PECULIAR.......I HAIL .
Just coming from Cardinal Rex's original version. I grew up thinking this was the original. I'm hearing different wordings on the two versions. Can you kindly help me out sir?
English is not our native tongue but we can relate is the love for another human as one being. Yes, you may be different but we can relate make us one as a whole for being a human.
Rex in 1969 sang it 1st. But the wordings are not same only the lyrics. I have personally critiqued it. The number Orlando sang for Rex Lawson in his remembrance after his death in his release same 1969 on Iba Edumare was more than enough as copy right fee despite differences in words but same lyrics. No blame game. Rex a PH man and Orlando an Owo descent, if you say Ifon you are still in line. I have wondered the connect many times but i came to conclusion Chief Orlando was a fully detriberlised personality. May the soul of the duo continue to rest in perfect peace.
