Meet Janice: a thoughtful, energetic 63-year-old retired pediatric nurse now living in Florida with her husband. An avid reader of nonfiction, she also loves traveling and swimming. After being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (MBC), Janice’s passion for science and knowledge motivated her to learn as much as she could about the disease, and to become involved in MBC advocacy, education, and peer support.
