Hello and welcome to the re-issue of the previous video. I normally would've just issued the two corrections necessary to keep it up in a pinned comment, but the reaction was so over-dramatic and hostile that we felt it prudent to take it down, change the 5 words in 3 paragraphs to make it right, and re-upload. @@MegasXLR it was a typo in my notes. There are two variants of the S20 FE (4G and 5G), and while I was writing stuff I erroneously wrote that the S20 FE had 4GB of RAM. Simple mistake. Easy enough to correct, but the video went out before I woke up and by the time I woke up and checked the video, there were already a dozen comments that had concluded that I was too incompetent to be allowed to ever make CZcams videos again and called for my immediate dismissal from tech blogging altogether.
I don't mind people calling me stupid for an error (it was a stupid error lol), but trying to cancel me in my own comment section is a little bit dramatic (especially given that literally everybody who does this for a living makes similar errors all the time) so I took it down, removed the comments, and re-uploaded with the correction.

You guys always show that there still are older or "inferior" phones that are still value for money instead of just promoting flagships or new midrangers all the time.
I had the Note 8 for 3yrs but after breaking the glass in 3 different spots I had to get a new phone, I got the s20 fe 5G and it's fuckin amazing... Yes I miss the stylus bcuz I've had the Note 4,note 5 and note 8 but yes older phones are still usable... If I didn't break the glass display on my note I would probably still be using it 3yrs later, there was no slowdown it wasn't laggy it was perfectly fine where as a 3yr old iPhone will be useless
@@MoejiiOsmanTV you’re being disingenuous about the iPhone. I have a iPhone 8 Plus that’s 5 years old now and still works perfectly fine. I also have a Note 8 Plus that still works perfectly fine as well, both are still usable in 2023 for the average user.

I wish they made s20 fe 5g in the size of s21. S21 on the exynos, without having microsd card and being more expensive seems to be worse deal, even despite its compactness.
I also wish the same but I prefer the size of s10e more as I think it is the perfect size.
Wait for the S21 FE in October. It might have a better design than the S20 FE.

Yes, it's been a tough few years for our CZcams team and I am the last of the OG crew. But if experience has shown me anything, it's that we'll find some more very talented people and keep it running. Our new guy (he did the OnePlus 9 review), is actually very good so we're well on our way.

You can toggle the white balance on the S20fe, and any preceeding Samsung model (i have the 10e) by going into "Pro Mode" and the toggle feature that you love so much is there
I really can't decide between the two.
For now in France the 256GB version of s21 is sold out.
I like the smaller size and design of s21. I've been using the s8.
The S20 fe feels weird, sightly too big.
But the SD card slot would make my storage concerns go away

Just traded my S10e for the S21...but Verizon gave me a $800 trade in value, so getting the S21 for free made it a simple decision.
probably depends when your buying for instance I can't upgrade until January so either get S21 f e or S22.
I think the blacks look better on the s21 but I like the the feel of the FE I think the new FE that's coming out this year will be the one to get.
I was gonna upgrade my phone to the S21 BUT I decided to go with the S20 FE 5G for 2 reasons: SAVE money for the same specs that I'd use on the flagship because I don't need the newest chipset or the best cameras and the MST feature that allows me to use Samsung Pay virtually almost anywhere. I'm upset that they removed the MST feature on the S21 lineup so I guess I'll be holding on to my S20 FE for the next few years until it can not longer work. I'm hoping they'll bring it back for future devices...
interesting side note. It's now September 21 and the FE is going for almost it's starting price(Amazon) 9 mos previously. I got on a $150 discount before the prices ramped back up. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on delivery whereas if I'd waited a week I'd be paying $130 more but had the delivery in less than a week. I guess I'm getting a deal if I get the phone.
I ordered S20FE from the official site of Samsung and I received a defected device with camera played badly on the back panel of the phone with glue coming out of it. I contacted the customer help line and in 3 days after the delivery and they said you need to complain within 24 hours of the phone delivery. I dont know what all things are compromised from my device be it water proofing or the camera functioning but my consent is the company only offers 1 days of device replacement in case of Quality Assurance Failure .

are you sure? i have tested both telephotos and the s21 3x hybrid zoom sucked against the s20 fe's optical zoom, especially in low light... well the s21 does not have optical zoom at all, it is just 64mp digital crop

Last FE was so goood for it's price!!
I love my S20 FE 5G a lot, also what no one talks about is the charging time, I use the 25W charger, I get 3-100% in 1 hr and 9 minutes. Fastest ever. S20 FE FTW. I use 120hz all the time and battery life for me is between 7 to 8 hrs and I charge it every 1 and half day. I am waiting for the S21 FE or S22 FE. I like the colors of S20 FE.
But the issue is S21 FE might have Exynos processor in India :(

@@RajOnACloud true, I am in the US so I got lucky with the Snapdragon, and I always buy snapdragon only. My cousin got the 4G version I think it has exynos yeah the performance and speed does vary.
Switched from Note 8 to S20 fe 5G...ita effi g amazing.. I was gonna get the Note 20 but it has no MicroSD Card slot... That's ridiculous I can't live without extra hard-drive space I use a 128gb SD card.... I miss the stylus but it's insignificant compared to how amazing this phone is.... And the specs are much better then the Note 20 even tho the Note 20 is more expensive and the only way to get the specs I want on a Note phone and a MicroSD card u have to get the Note 20 ultra which is double the price

S21 is an awesome purchase now. Few months after the initial release, it only retails here at around USD 610

@@UbixQ oh that's too much. Here samsung devices are notorious for losing nearly half the value on their 6th month. I remembered purchasing my s20+ 5G on its 7th month life cycle last year and I got it brand new for only 610 USD equivalent

I noticed that the Samsung galaxy s20 FE has warmer white tone in screen than the galaxy s21. I think the s20 FE has the exact same panel of galaxy a52 since I have it and they look really exact ly the same. I prefer cooler tone tho
S20fe is a warmer phone too..made an omlett on it after clicking a few pics on it 😅
The FE very obviously uses A-series hardware with S-series internals stuffed in, you can see it in the design. Which makes it even more frustrating that they nixed the headphone jack, a very desirable and fan favorite hardware feature.
@@BoxCarBoy12 I guess the s line up is all about no headphone jack for the "classy" what a shame tho. Im glad I still have the headphone jack in my a52 but I rarely used it now
Display on S20fe is super amoled, which is found on the A series.. brightness around 800-1000 nits
While on the s21 is dynamic amoled with brightness around 1300 nits...
The layer of the panel also different tho..
On the s21 it uses flexible type of oled (which is more expensive and also thinner)
While on S20fe is rugged amoled (found most in the midrange device)

I have a s21 and then my grandpa got a s20 fe. I notice its camera quality was better, and that the screen was bigger AND it had better quality. I was kinda upset lol

If you go into the display settings, there should be an RGB slider where you can tune the white balance of the display.
You forgot an essencial feature S21 has and S20 FE don´t: The front camera on S21 has optical stabilization, like the back ones, while S20 FE do not. Making Vlogs on an S20 FE is out of the question, images looks terribly tremble and junky. Just this feature, for me who depend on a good phone for Vlogs isn´t unforgivable. So, S21 is a very nice piece. The rest may even look alike.
The S20FE 5G will receive the Android 13 too, because Samsung told that it will get 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

The s21 seems to have a tint over the front camera so its not obvious on black or dark backgrounds.
My S20 FE (4G) is on OneUI 3.1 and having RAM management issues.
The 4G exynos variant has tons of issues sadly.

I used the FE for 9wks, now the 21+. Big difference, nah not really. Sure the triple8 is a tad faster than the 865 but you won't notice the difference? Both are excellent. You want to save 💰🤑the FE is still an excellent choice? Micro s/d also makes it a good choice! Plus 15watt charger in the 📦!

To be honest, the YT algo hates the content I make (apps/games etc) and it was causing problems with traffic.

Why would you love a camera module that looks like red light. The FE has a delicated tele camera it's just fair enough to say the FE telephotos are better than the S21

i presently have the S9+ and I still feel like I am crossed between getting the S2-0 FE for the sake of the battery but I am definitely one who values storage and photo taking so I am kinda leaning on the S21 for that reason. Gah I hate deciding when the phones are like not much different between pricing. I have heard tons of good reviews re: S20FE. Even with my S9+ I guess I could have used the media thing but I never did. (actually forgot it had one til a friend told me lol. I just assumed it had my old media card in it - It didn't) I am still crossed and undecided. HELP!!! lol

the FE can be used as a heater in winter, it overheats so badly to the way you can cook eggs on it.
If u have Exynos version, i have s20 fe 5g with snapdragon- no issues with thermals

I have the s20Fe At TMobil. I'm not sure if the phone company makes a difference, but I have had nothing but trouble. When I try to make a call I'm told That the phone is not connected to any network. It also doesn't connect to the internet. This happens about 80% of the time. Is anyone else having this problem?
How is the s21's battery better, when you can see that the difference of the two phones go from 2 or 3% to 5% during the video? The s20 fe loses less battery and in the app the s20 fe would last over 2 days in stand by, while the s21 only would last under 2 days. How would the s21 last longer during your usage?

6.2 for S21 still seems too big
S10 6'1" Dynamic Amoled HDR10+.. Android 11, 12 to come in future, harmann stereo, tripple cam system, glass finish. Still rocks in videos and photo shooting, and is quite.. affordable, if You don't want to go with S21.
Just good still samsung style phone, 15W charger, earphones set, usb c to usb micro adapter in box and usb 2.0 to usb c adapter to plug a pendrive, mouse or keyboard or even x360 pad for nVidia app. Nothing more to say 😉

S21 doesn't have optical zoom lens. It depends on the megapixels to zoom in. The FE has true optical zoom camera and it's far better than the S21 cropping zoom but I can see that you really wanted help the S21.

S20 FE 5G makes much more sense in europe since we dont have the SD888 option for S21 and have to endure Exynos 2100.... FE 5G is our only loop hole to get a SD in a samsung.

I had the FE and it was super glitchy, the finger print reader was terrible, the screen was not bright enough in direct sunlight. All those things are not present on the s21. I like it much better. That being said all the things Samsung has taken away is ridiculous and sad. Thanks for the video, nice work!
A lot of on-screen biometric readers aren't reliable, the physical ones on the side are better.
It's not a huge deal, but it's worth noting that the fe also has an exenos variant.
Based on what I've seen and heard about the Exynos variant of this phone, I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone lol. The latest Exynos chip is apparently pretty good, but the last gen was a furnace.

S20 FE 5G now has been updated to one ui 3.1 android 11 as of beginning of March 2021.
The S21 looks nice,but it doesn't have a micro SD card adapter. That's a real deal breaker for me. So I'm going to pass on the S21
Disappointed with the S20 FE screen. Looks great w movies but when reading something w white background and black letters its difficult to read and look at. The white screen shimmers and each part of the screen is a different color die to the angle from your eye.
Definitely buying the s21 when the price drops to s20 fe 4g pricing in a year or so...But until then I'm definitely sticking with my s10

How long before burn in on each?
That depends on a variety of factors and there is no way to predict that with consistency between devices. If you leave your phone on 24/7 on the same screen at max brightness with no variation, I would assume rather quickly. But, I haven't had burn-in on a Samsung phone...well ever actually lol. Last time I had burn-in was on the LG V20 actually.

seems like there is big diffrence in adaptive 120Hz.
Here in Europe s21 has only Samsung Exynos and S20 fe 5g has Snapdragon - that is the reason i chose s20 fe instead s21 with overheating Exynos
The silver ring around my camera doesn't bother me one bit. I thought it would, it doesn't.
And it's just STUPID to try to watch something full screen on a phone with a camera punch there. JUST SAYING!!!
