I use superglue to get my models on the bases all the time since i work on the bases while my primer is drying and i havent run into many issues since i use Agrellan Badland as my main texture. The super glue helps the cracks stick to the base more because they have a tendency to flake off sometimes but too much super glue can make a cloudy texture start to form soma drop or two usually does the trick
