Gary and I start out our day by using Gary's Disability Access Service to reserve a spot for Avatar: Flight of Passage. We then grab a Starbucks and I show you a great place to sit down and enjoy your Starbucks breakfast.
After Starbucks we take the train to Rakiki's Planet Watch to meet Doc McStuffins and Rafiki as well as enjoying the exhibits, animal encounter and the Song of the Rainforest attraction.
During the day you'll see us enjoying attractions such as Expedition Everest, Festival of the Lion King, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Navi River Journey!
Throughout this vlog I'll be giving you tips and tricks to make your Walt Disney World vacation the best it can be!

In the early years of Animal Kingdom their was a wonderful show called Pocahontas and her animal friends. Pocahontas sang songs from the movie and she interacted with the wild but trained animals. In her Indian village was her talking tree Willow. This was a great children's experience but I loved it as much as a adult. Miss it much!

Glad to see your attitude on Rafiki's turning a bit, as it was the home of my first DCP. I was there and watched live on camera the morning Jabali, an elephant was born, before park open. Also as far as the vet window, procedures are performed there every morning, and they work on every animal species there except; hippos, rhinos, giraffes and elephants. Very curious that the cast member openly talked of animals passing, in my day, we couldn't make mention of death
oh my god Gary on prime evil whirl! loved it. my son who hates coasters was like I will go on this and this last trip we did, needless to say he also said never again, ha ha. I thought it was okay.
We've used the disability pass before for my brother and basically it works exactly has you said. Sometimes you can be admitted through a different entrance and go straight on but others where the queues are really long (pirates and the pandora one etc) the return time is basically how long it would take for you to get to the front of the queue if you were standing in it... but without having to be in the queue. We found it difficult to use at times though as it restricted us a lot

I like the fact they always get breakfast and then later lunch in between snacks and then their dinner meal at hotel or wherever they are staying is good for goodnight sleep and rest after a full day of activities and fun!!!!!!!!!

Typically, the vets at Rafiki's Planet Watch are out in the field on Wednesdays. So, if you want to possibly see a procedure, go early any other day.
I learned that from our guides on the Wild Africa Trek. (Which I went on because of your birthday vlog, thank you)
The sound booth that you went into at rafiki planet watch are one of my favorite lesser known things to do at Disney World and a must do for me at Animal kingdom. I'm happy to know you liked them as well.

You're right about it NOT being a top attraction, but a couple years ago we saw them operating on a gorilla. That was pretty interesting.

Its on my list for my next trip didnt even know about it till I saw it. Last thing you recommended that I did was Skipper Canteen and that was the best meal of the whole trip I'm expecting good things from the rainforest...
