I've been living in UK for a while. I like to listen to english whenever I can. I think input is very important for english learners and it even effects my output somehow. So I have that good habit to listen to english podcasts or stories at the same time while I drive, walk, cooking, do my chores and etc. Killing two birds with one stone. not a native speaker but I heard about this one. Both can be used, formally the one you mentioned is more accepted, but in an informal context it might sound pretentious and the first one is more common. I guess it also depends on the country or even the region you are from.
