David was my favorite ballet teacher. I studied with him at his studio from 1982 - 1984 in NYC. I loved his kinesiological method. I used to say he could teach anyone to dance well.
Love David Howard! His voice and directions are so clear, reassuring, calm and grounding. His classes are challenging, creative and fun...he said most of all, have fun!
I am very grateful that you posted this class.. He was my teacher for a long time. And the teacher that I had another teacher from the Royal Ballet was his teacher. I really miss him and I miss the classes so much. Thanks again for posting

I used to love doing ballet at home to the 2 David Howard ballet master class videos back in 2007-ish. However, I did forget about that DAMNED clapping that he feels the need to do the entire length of his videos. Unwatchable now. He didn't think people could keep time to the piano? I'm glad that the Dutch National Ballet has their non-clapping online ballet class videos.
