Rumour has it Kramnik is investigating Morphy.
😂
50%-50% chance Morphy's guilty.
@@_nemo171Nah, 100% evidence of computer assistance... come on, 300/400 estimated elo above everyone else in the world? That's impossible, statistics doesn't lie. What a disgusting cheater. I'm not accusing anyone though, just saying it's... interesting
@@raffaeledivora9517 yes, Kramnik concluded Morphy was indeed using Stockfish 24 on several occasions
As he should- I’ve heard rumors that Morphy would excuse himself from ongoing games and step into an outhouse, only to pull out an abacus and steampunk machine (powered by pulleys and flywheels that were powered by small rodents running on a hamster wheel- kinda like the mechanical energy Fred Flintstone harnessed on a regular basis, but Morphy had to use mammals instead of dinosaurs for obvious reasons). Kramnick is on to something. Morphy’s (recorded) matches are far too interesting for a man who played chess in that era.
I like Kramnick's system. It's simple and 100% accurate. If he loses, his opponent cheated
Hahaha v true
Have you ever even watched his stream?
@@cooloutac do you speak Russian?
@@compromisedssh He streams in english. I guess that answers my question....smh... And actually if you ever venture outside this bubble and see some chess channels in other languages, like French or Russian, put on captions. translate the comments. They all praise Kramnik. I mean basically the whole chess world. ONline gaming is not taken seriously, Half the people cheat, and its very suspicious to deny this. I don't even think you follow chess otherwise you'd see all the commenters in the chatrooms of these events echoing Kramnik, and you probably have multiple accounts on the website yourself. RIP. If you call Kramnik crazy you might as well call all the top players crazy, and pretty soon none of them are going to play online.

I wish Kramnik wasn't crazy. It would be really useful to have an anti cheating ambassador that is sane.
@@Narragorth Accusing Hikaru and any random guy that beats him is just not it.
@@jaideepshekhar4621the game the other week where he reported a younger player for cheating immediately after losing, without even stopping to breathe or check the game review, was especially sad to see. On game review, turned out Kramnik just had a bad day and played with ~75 accuracy iirc. No reflection, no analysis, just vitriol thrown in every direction. He's using legitimate concerns about the prevalence of cheating to go into full McCarthyism...which is ironic in several ways. Tragic, too.
Cultivating individual thoughts is not a good thing when they are not based on solid evidence.
@@Narragorth Yes, sure, because that's what supergrandmasters do, just giving their honest opinions no matter the consequences, lol. It's very clear what the top players think about HOW Kramnik goes about his fight against cheating, obviously without saying out loud he is insane. You know, what do you think Carlsen thinks about Niemann without calling him names and whatever? You see?
And you know, absolutely NOBODY thinks Kramnik is insane, because he is fighting against cheating, everyone is applauding him for that part. The problem is how he goes about it, how he doesn't provide evidence, how he suspects persons on a hunch, and those who perform well against him, while nobody else thinks that those persons cheated.
He does a great disservice for the fight against cheating, because he mixes up everybody else with the real cheaters making look cheating more OK, and not less OK.
Kramnik is just old.
I wonder how much the IDEA that Hans could be cheating mentally affects his online opponents
no top 50 really thinks hans is cheating
Well this was 89% accurate. Fabi had several chances to turn the tables but he just missed it. So no cheating as far as anyone can tell.
Everyone knows he cheated multiple times, Hans even admitted it.@@jurebergant4776
More than a couple of his peers seem to not really want to play him and instead offer up lines into known draws...
So some of his opponents I would say are clearly affected!
Bingo. There was an analysis of accuracy of top players, and the same top players vs Hans. And on average, they make more mistakes against him than against other players :)
Kramnik really is making his rounds on the clown world tour.

Could you please please please enable last move highlight? It makes it sooo much easier for amateurs such as myself to follow along and analyze. I continually find myself losing track of the last move played when examining positions. Anyways, love your channel.
Ah sorry will try remember next game, basically I disable it to do thumbnail grab but then need to re-enable
Kramnik watches in old matches and immediately says -" Hmm INTRESTING , this fellow must be investigated "
Bobby Fischer accusations incoming
That would be a good prank video if you could somehow get him to review his own game but anonymously. I'm sure he'd remember it within a few moves anyway
The finishing combo was not that difficult to spot - deflection, fork, then kick king out and promote.
Promote to a knight instead of a queen and win the rook, in Epic Chess's variation.
@@yggdrasil9039at that point with a Queen and Rook the Game is in the bag
Yes. I'm rated 1600 and I saw it. I've been solving puzzles online and that looked so familiar. It means it must be a fairly standard puzzle pattern.
cheaters are haunting this man in his sleep
Definitely the most entertaining and humorous chess channel. Always puts a smile on my face!
If you win you are a genius. If you lose the other guy is a cheater. That is something that we are watching all the time now.
You don't need to do that much to trigger Kram into a cheat test ^^
Hans finally learned to play like an engine.
I'm not great, but I saw rook c8 right away. Seems like a classic puzzle position.
Same, that's a pretty obvious move to me, and the kind of pattern that actually comes up frequently in normal games; deflect a piece straight into a fork to get your material back. It's not really a sacrifice, just a trade that takes an extra turn.
The finish was also classic with the two pawns I’ve seen stuff like that in Immortal games
He is taught to beat !! I like Hans Neiman play
4:27 *he’s doing a journey to world champion
Goddayum congratulations Hans, and thanks Epic Chess for this review!
Well this was just a matter of time 😂
I really think Hans is just playing the clock often. You can see when he is making moves back and forth, it's running the opponents clock down. He doesn't trade and instead keeps pieces on the board, likely because he knows his current position and knows the opponent expects the trade and has spent time thinking about the trade. So if he just doesn't think about trading and his opponent does then that is less time he has to spend thinking about those moves. It seems like a sound strategy and one I could see myself doing if I ever wanted to actually spend thousands of hours learning and practicing chess, I don't think my mind is good enough to get into grandmaster though, but I could see it working on masters also. If you can use up your opponents time then it makes sense to make a move that changes nothing, because taking more of their time off the clock gives you an advantage later in the game. And it's exactly why Kramnik lost, he didn't have enough time at the end of the game to really think everything out.
thanks for the tips
Hans rustles so many jimmies
Your recaps are a blast, super fun!
Ever do viewer games or lower level analysis?
What is that not being funny just wondering
thanks a lot, I haven;t before but maybe one day
How to generate clicks: Best, include Magnus in the title. Next best, include Niemann and cheating in the same title. If you can add Kramnick as a cherry on top, call it a !! click generator.
Hans singlehandedly making chess great again.
4:26 He's such a talented Candidate Master. He'll no doubt secure those GM norms. 😂😂😂😂. Loved the video mate.
Credit to you for promoting Hans' channel
Kram gone full send.
what engine used?
I hope Hans will get even better and proves, he's got it in him. Nice chess from this young guy
Yes got it in him, deep in him...
that is deep 🤣😂🤣
But he has to work on his social skills.
Crazy people are always entertaining.
Good on you, Kramnik.
The Niemenator strikes again.
He wouldnt promote to a queen, but a knight! Fork the king and the second rook...
Stop giving a platform to an old man yelling at the clouds. He brings nothing into the chess world now. Let him be forgotten for good.
10:20 I never understood the score, why does it dip so much and then go back gradually up?
depends on depth, bar boucnes a lot
Tbh no need to investigate him still, he should be banned from chess. Period
Edit: also that sacrifice was absolutely normal. Flashy winning move, i spotted it as soon as he captured the bishop and I suck ass (1400-1600 elo), which is to day that also Kramnick is batshit crazy
Your content never fails to make me laugh. Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot glad you enjoyed!
Great game and commentary.
Niemann is back with a vengeance!
He should take it to the next level and analyze also Hikaru. Just because he lost does not mean he did not cheat 😂😂😂
Hans plays some complex chess that is too advanced for me to appreciate, but it works for him, but in this game he's played more simply and I can understand and learn from his gameplay. Brilliant moves and tact. The moves he's played in this game show patience and a lot of cleverness. In a word genius. Thank you for choosing this game to explain and for this content 😊I haven't reached the Kramnik part yet but at best his views are speculation and he is not the expert on gameplay ethics that he is being given credit for. What should we expect when the highest ranking players face one another? A push to the limits and the very best chess. Let's get this principle underlined and emboldened.
Even I saw that ending coming. It's what I would have done, so it must not be that tough because I'm terrible.
I think we need to accept the fact that Hans is just really good at chess.
The outstanding pawn march 🙂
Using Kramnik's own criteria, which players/games of the past (before GM-level computers) would have come under suspicion? For instance, were any of Fischer's sacrifices so good that Kramnik would have accused him of cheating if he were living in this modern era?
3 things I took from this video…
1. Great content and commentary as always, keep up the amazing work mr epic!
2. Vlad needs help! What a a sad sad man!
3. Plus I now don’t like watching a chess game without a good old fashioned “epic chess” knight journey adventure, I like when he leaves home, returns penniless to mum n dad, leaves again, then returns home to find his mother is dead and dad has done very little so leaves for a 3rd time only to die valiantly at the hands of a passed pawn at the battle of G7!
thanks a lot!
I’m a climbing 700, relatively new to chess and I managed to get a 96 accuracy over a 47 move game, it was a 1500 performance though. I probably just got incredibly lucky, but high accuracy doesn’t show the whole picture. This isn’t aimed at Kramnik, but there are people who see high accuracy as the only stat worth looking at for cheating PS love your content as always James
I am hooked in your content thank you. I don't know if you read comments but I find your hans game analysis fascinating and would love some elaboration 're your opinion on the hans scandals. You seem fairly confident he's no Cheater so I'd love to hear your thoughts. thank you. Big fan.
thanks a lot! i did a whole series of videos in a playlist when scandal was breaking if you want to check out
@@epicchess2021 Just watched it! Brill, thanks and please keep doing what you're doing!
I watched to the end, Kramnik simply did what most others do: he guessed the "best moves" percentage and... that's pretty much it. When another GM does this, we don't call it a cheat test. We call it "guessing percent best moves."
Not a cheat test. A "cheat test" is when Hikaru brings on a fake statistician who fumbles though made-up stats to "prove" someone cheated while Hikaru nods along and says that it is all very interesting. That was a cheat test billed as a cheat test and it failed miserably.
For once, Kramnik's reaction is if anything underwhelming, given how other former World Champions have reacted to Niemann's play.
Hans starts with e4 and I'm already thinking this is sus!
I'm baffled. If I can see that finish with Rc8 (and I spotted it and the follow up almost immediately), how can anyone be surprised that a top grandmaster spotted it?
What if the player who get accused put he is pants down to prove that he not cheat?
Lmao Kramnik is now the biggest troll in chess
Starting to become a Niemann fan. Wish he was a little more likeable.
I’ll be honest i now luv young hans, think he gets it tight…..although tht might just be the beads tbf!

I mean even I thought of Rook C8 and pushing pawns at the end...
The boy can play.
A tub fit for a king
For their rating, I don't think that's cheating. Fabio just made a misstep with his capture of the bishop instead of going for the pawn with his knight.
Don‘t make a Queen, but a knight!
Go Hans go! .... Oh the salt !
With my level below 2,400 I would find this sacrifice in seconds. I think most of 1900s would find it too. Fabi is not as good in blitz as Hans. While Hans played a solid positional game without major mistakes, Fabi struggled finding solid strategy and did not use few opportunities to improve his position. Fabi's style is good for classic though.
great video
Kramnik is a "last man". look it up
Has Kramnik gone over the 1971 Bobby Fischer Candidate's Matches? He won several of them 6-0. I'm sure Bobby was doing some kind of time travel to use 22nd century chess computer technology to prepare for his games. Maybe he had a "future link" implant so he could access the computer game/move analysis during play?
Lol I suspect he has but not recently!

My 12 yo brother played a chess game with me on my team and found this same tactic! Guess he's as good as a gm
I have a feeling Kramnik became a World Champion in what was it (?) 2008(?) and then he took a short nap. So he woke up yesterday and nowadays the kids are playing the same 3 move combinations but in a different order. It's almost as if they've been playing against Alpha Zero and learning new tricks. Or it must be a parallel Universe.
Lol na he became champion in 2000! Even longer ago 2000-2007 then Anand took over
Online chess very easy to cheat😂😂😂

Kramnik has accused Stockfish of cheating
hans has beaten magnus, hikaru, and now fabiano. we are watching the rise of the anti hero
He's like Djokovic beating Federer, Nadal, and the other one
Kramnik should stop pretending to be the anti cheater.
To be honest, no player would go in a match with an AI at the highest settings. Ideally, 3rd/4th or 5th best moves are always the key. A good player can then pickup the moves suggested by the AI. Welcome to the world of AI and ChatGPT bois
And watch GothamChess's videos where he shows cheaters using such tactics. It results in mad moves. Niemann plays very humanly - he chooses moves you'd never make if you'd seen a computer analysis showing you how bad they are. He won because Caruana made worse mistakes. The game almost followed Caruana's "what happens when I play Niemann" script. That runs, Caruana gradually builds an advantage through fewer small inaccuracies, but makes a mistake and hands the advantage back; but then Niemann makes a bigger mistake. That much happened, but this time Caruana failed to capitalise and handed the advantage back. Kramnik is sadly confused if he thinks the accuracy percentage in one game tells you anything.
Did you see the statement by Saint Louis Chess Club?
Only just now wow! Thanks for heads up
