I think you're grossly underestimating the Grimoire's A5.
Think of a scenario where you use the Grimoire skill first, then you immediately use your ult and for example West Wind's skill (ideally all of it after a Shadow Step).
Both of those will get buffed by 50% and then you'll deal the extra 10% of that combined damage on top of it.
So all in all, A5 Grimoire should be the best burst damage weapon in the game by a long shot (unless some weapon can beat that).
Not grossly underestimating it at all. I use it more than most other weapons. Just giving u guys the test results
@@PayneBlade Well I tried to explain why Skadi's A5 can't possibly beat Grimoire's A5. Not the weapon as a whole, just that advancement.
@@Sukenus While I agree with your point, the scenario that you stated is pretty hard to execute for the majority of players of the game. Many players of the game are not hardcore games. They are average players that won't be able to use the grimoire to its full potential, let alone pull it to A5. Case in point: the buff in Cha; why would they buff an already broken unit? Because they got the data from the majority of people and they are struggling with content even with Cha. Skadi of course also has the luck component of pulling it. But Skadi itself seems to be easier to use and would be so for a majority of the people. As such, while the grimoire may be in certain cases superior, our guy Payne is creating content for a majority of the people. Of course his data talks, but he should also be presenting things that are realistic and not idealistic to the average Joe, which is exactly what he did.
@@Valentair Your point is fair, but since we're talking about A5 from the start, it can't apply to the majority anyway.
And I believe our boy Payne is making content for any player, be it casual, hardcore, f2p or whale.

Get to level 55 beat igris in hard mode and reach 60k power for sung jinwoo and you'll get it

The elemental weakness is a bit weird. Same as the Weakness Detection blessing stone, i saw a really good speedrunner (TyPal) said that that rune works on every boss that has an elemental weakness, and you don't have to use that element to get the bonus dmg. You just get it automatically regardlesd of which weapon u use. So can u do some testing on this? Thanks!
I asked him and he said enemy has to have elemental weakness so he isn't sure why that info was misheard
With flower plum sword is scythe or skadi a better combination?
Shadow step + grimore freeze+shadow monarch domain blessing + jinho ult you can cast all of the effect in just 2.5 sec and it destroys the anime if your poer is in white and you have elemental advantage.

Hey payne, i have a lot of gems i did not use, do you think it is good to invest them into draws? Or use them more to get keys for instance dungeons etc to get artifacts?
Stick to draws especially when there is an event happening like chae and alicia . You can exchange keys w mana crystals as well

I love this game for the fact that you have to build dif teams and strategies including weapons, skills, hunters etc. Either if pure dmg of breaker needed
As time keeps going in the game more "broken" stuff will come out its normal
Tbh i changed grimoire for plum sword and moonshadow combo
Feels so good even tho only have plum sword A1
that combo is so overrated, damage is low :/
@@ladyjeit1380it only works with moonshadow A1 without that that weapon isn’t that good but the plum sword is stable for the amount of grit damage that it provides you and at A3 it becomes a lot stronger

is their like a way to farm weapon exp? I have a handful of decent weapons for jinwoo but can't level any of them cause im out of potions
Nope..you need to keep playing everyday,do all the event/dailies and you probably able to max out a weapon in couple of weeks .. so choose wisely
hello payne! any advice for now since hunter cha cant be obtained in rate up draw, should I use other ssr hunter with more advancement level or nah? F2P here
Use other SSR hunters with advancement they are good for story clearing but near to endgame try to use strongest char that you own

It is I have both and they work amazing together but the real combo is the skadi and the plum sword. The plum sword is so OP I have it at lvl 40 and it does almost the same damage as the skadi I have at lvl 60
@@ryanbeamer4022you seem new the weapon level doesn’t matter your attack stats is the most important so let’s say you have 10k attack then your skadi and plum will deal the seam damage ofc levelling both of them will increase attack which means more damage but you can use a low level weapon with a high level but both will deal the same damage

The skadi deal 100% mod or 500%(A5) when it activate
And it deals 50% mod dmg with a cooldown of 0.5 sec for 7 second.
So if you attack inside the domain for every time cooldwon is up you will deal like 600% modifier attack.
So it pretty much deal 700% more modifier to the enemy unless A5. Which is 1200% which is less if you dont spam rapid attack during it
But its not like grimoire where it just straight buffs the attack by multiplying the modifier of the atack you do while dealing 10% of all of it during freeze
So grimoire has a potential to do more damage when you do a lot of dmg during the freezing. With all the buffs on it which is 24% A1 and 20% A3 and the 20% from the A5
Just with one 2000% modifier hit during grimoire effect will certainly do more damage than skadi. Not to mention if you ult during it on top of it
Also you dont have to bring a weapon you can bring SJW elemental skill
I did the testing with a buddies account and the a5 hit way hard with skadi due to high atk stat because it's based off jinwoos overall atk. The grimoires 50% more dmg didn't do more when using it and another weapon and that's most likely due to the fact that skadi also adds Def pen and atk up stacks. It may all make sense on paper but it translates different in game
@@PayneBlade but considering SJW might be able to do 2 ultimate during a big fight and how shadow can also be used twice during ult and break that might bridge the gap quite a bit using the 20% total dmg reflect with the book

I got jinwoos dual dagger SSR but it's not in the draws
@PAYNEBLADE in the f2p bosses guide can you include the chp 17 and 18 final bosses
Even if you have not cleared it on f2p account you can give tips and tricks through the p2w account one and I don't have black skill so any alternate for that will be helpful

Hey Guys, do you also feel that we get higher Points for the Dragon fight? Since yesterday, the new patch, the number increased for sure about 20% +-. Reached on Fire~190M yesterday and today 210M,. Way more. Water was my best fight and 2days ago i had around 160M. Maybe they nerfed Dragon and i did´t saw it on patch notes.
Would like to hear your opinion. Also Payne did, as he said way more, and i doubt it´s from Vulcan buff^^

do you know anything about this? is this bug or just has some formula for computing team total power. I reported this on netmarble because a lot of players are thinking that this is bug.

it seems there's a lot of mistakes regarding that matter where I usually have 300k TTP yet I ended up having less.
pls fix this. It's not enjoyable to play games with bugs.
when using jinwoo, ur hunters give 66% of their total power and now add gems and armory to it. it's accurate

Cha+Seo+Min is the best from those options for most content.
Grimoires biggest problem is how slow it is to use the skill. On harder stages the bosses disrupt it so quickly unless you shadow step
Yeah. Also with the monkeys. They're throwing fruits every time you stand for a few seconds.

You can use it as a stat stick, but it's not really worth leveling if you're not gonna get Alicia.

As a f2p player, it's almost impossible to have A5 with any weopons, especially SSR.
I think you should also do a separate video on Jinwoo's weopons with no dupes cause most f2p players ( including myself ) doesn't have dupes for Jinwoo's weapons.

use sr bow,orb and sniper if you have them, if enough advencements they destroy every ssr weapon with 0 and even 1 dupes
Yeah. I can only go to A1 so far. Scythe is A2 cuz of free copies
@@ladyjeit1380 west wind is not easy to get for me. Yes I have bow A5 and orb A4. I don't like bow weapons personally 🥲. So I go with huntsman A1😅

The weapon I showed was a0 comparing to an a5. It's not easy on my f2p since I don't have either weapon so I can't make showcases if I don't have them

Just keeping it a buck. The comparisons of the a5's didn't seem fair lol. 50% is crazy.... I think book still has strongest skill pistols better to basic attack and skill last.
Oh ya they are both amazing weapons. Put them together u get a crazy combo that synergizes perfectly. Book is still top tier

But Payne, even at A3 I'd still pick the 20% damage each time I freeze the enemy with the grimoire over that 12% infinite damage boost after 4 skill uses with the gun. IDK maybe I misunderstood something, or maybe the additional 12% defense penetration boost would compensate for that?
Remember that atk scales with all skills so everything he does goes up which actually is better than the dmg increase for jinwoo and yes that 12% dmg pen is huge. That's -60% Def down with shadow step and then 12% Def pen and further with ur Stats.

I think if you want to do a real comparison you have to say everything
Example, on "power of destruction" with grimoire you can attack both claws with the skill, and you have 3 hunters attacking with you so 10% of all that damage you gonna do on 4s is a huge amount that i highly doubt you gonna get with skadi
One game mode and how u use the weapon isn't going to dictate overall usage tbh. Overall skadi does more in all other content

Lets talk about the real issue! Cerb is balanced for Jinwho witch is why it's so hard to get that 85 sec kill even after overpowering it and over leveling.
