Rooster Teeth has buried its production under the weight of its managers hubris. They thought diversity hiring and going woke would bring more viewers over sticking with tried and true talent. I prefer to remember them as they were 2012-2016. Good riddance.
@@SethHixie I hear this take a lot, but I don't think "going woke" is why they failed. They had poor treatment of minorities and overcorrected. There was an appropriate response to their past, and this (hiring people without seeing if they actually bring in views) wasn't it.

Still remember coming home from school to watch these guys every day, definitely their prime, these times will be missed
2012-2016 AH will never be topped some of the best content produced ill always be grateful to have been around when they were in their prime
This is the achievement hunter I loved. A bunch of friends sitting around playing video games and just fucking around. Now they're always looking to do some sort of bit just to try to be funny. Nothing feels natural anymore. I miss this.

I know that back then, sometimes they would try to maybe plan a few things
But it was just so much more natural like you said and there was just something about a bunch of guys playing games for fun that created so many of these moments that just you can’t recreate anymore
Between their drama, all the company losses and how they’ve changed; that lightning in a bottle is sadly gone but I’m still happy we have these golden times to come back to
And I’d rather at least have these to see and to look back fondly on than to never have at all ✊🏻

When I watch the good old Achievement Hunter Lets play from 2012 - 2015 they have so much energy, fun, motivation and enjoyment but watching the latest videos of Achievement Hunter Lets play like around late 2019 - Now, they don't have that same feeling compare to the old nostalgic videos from 2012 - 2015

It is with great sadness that I must confess that there is no Let's Watch 2015. Last year I spent countless hours downloading and cutting the massive compilation you see before you. I was unemployment and had more time than I knew what to do with. This year has been a bit different for me. Spending as much time as I did on this video left me wanting any type of content besides RT or AH. Sadly as a result I stepped away from a lot of their videos and never really went back to it like I did before. I wish I could have sat down and put together a new montage but it just wasn't in the cards. I'm sorry to everyone waiting for this year's video. I'm sure HeroTheyCallMe and various others have made their own complications. I thank you all for the kind words from this last year and am sorry I cannot rob you of another 5 hours of your life.

Wow this brings back some memories, while we were moving we had no internet for a few weeks. I downloaded a bunch of these long compilations and watched them over and over again. I stopped watching achievement hunter around 4 years ago because schooling got too much for me to spend heaps of time online. I saw this recommended though and thought I’d get back in. If not for the entertainment then for the memories of laughing at it as a child who was way too young to get some of their jokes

Even before starting this video, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for all the hard work that it must have taken in order to upload this video. You must have had to go through almost every single Achievement Hunter Let's Play (hopefully you took notes throughout the year) and you had to compile all the video content into one long video, that, in itself, took time and other resources to render and upload. I still remember your Let's Watch from last year, and I loved every moment of it. I even found new favorite moments that you had highlighted.
Checking the description, you no longer have highlights marked like you did last year. I assume those might come in an update of some kind, say an edit after the fact. I hope they do, as that was quite helpful last year, however, I understand if they don't because this is 5 hours long, after all.
Thank you again for the Let's Watches for the previous two years and this one. Here's to another great year with these loveable characters, and another great Let's Watch at the end of 2015!

Regardless, Ray leaving isn't that much of a sad thing thing cause a)ray has been so fucking happy streaming and b)jeremy moved into the main six and everyone in the team loves him/the community has warmed up to him a lot. As for Monty... Monty wouldn't want you to use his name as an excuse to ruin the year.
+Ferdie Humphreys I think it would be nice to have something in the description or maybe the end of the video to address Monty's life. His passing was tragic, but his life was not sad. While he wasn't part of the AH crew, he deserves a mention. A "best of" video to commemorate one of the best of RT sounds great. Even if he decides not to address those things, I'm sure fans will come to the comment section to look back on his life as well as Ray's time with AH.
