Is there a lower limb reflex tests video ??
Absolutely! Will release it now for you 😊
Clinical Physio amazing thank you!
Sir can I perform reflex test on someone while I'm wearing gloves. I will be hitting my thumb, which is placed over the tendon and covered with gloves.
Because of covid. I'm thinking about wearing gloves while doing the test on my classmate tomorrow for our presentation.
@@FN-nw2wn yes that should be absolutely fine
@@ClinicalPhysio Thankyou! ❤️
during the examination of biceps reflex why do we hit the reflex hammer on our finger?
Hi Jagreety, this is just optional for patient comfort 😊
What if I don’t have these reflexes?
Whenever I do this biceps tendon reflex.. visible muscle contraction occurs but flexion of elbow doesn't occur. Why so ??? Plzz answer me..
Thats ok! Remember you are testing the tendon reflex, not muscular power or joint Range of movement. If there is a visible muscle contraction, the tendon reflex works 😊 Thats all that matters!
@@ClinicalPhysio thank you for replying me 😊
@@ClinicalPhysio what could be the reason for no flexion in elbow ??? Just asking 😊
@@himanshukaushik3838 quite simply that the reflex test can create a contraction which isn't strong enough to create the movement 😊
@@ClinicalPhysio thanks 😁
Is it normal for arms to feel achy after these tests? My Bicep hasnt stopped aching after a physio performed this test on me
Hi Joe - I wouldn’t necessarily say that is a consistent finding to be honest
@@ClinicalPhysio hi thank you for your reply. I had the test done with a small lower bicep problem present incidentally but I had forgot about it when I agreed to have the test done. I'm hoping no damage has been done to my bicep tendon but it is feeling really achy when I'm doing flexion and extensions movements
Asmr gold

I love all of your videos, but you really need to fix the sound.
Thank you
Thank you Ife! These older videos as you said the sound is quieter - our new videos much louder 🙏🏼
Ideal for a patient/model that can relax or is taking neurosuppressants
