This song is what started my Floyd journey so many years ago. Much underrated song from them
Pink Floyd are nothing short of brilliant. Guys, you need to do Comfortably Numb Pulse version 1994 and Echoes live at Pompeii, 1972.
Mary, they did Comfortably Numb @ Pulse last year. But between us Pink Floyd veterans, MAMMA MIA, Pulse performances nearly stopped my heart! I have 60 years as a guitarist, and until I broke my hand, playing Comfortably Numb always struck me as transcendental. 😇🕊️

Hey! My gf and I watch you guys from Spain and just love your energy, what you have to say about the songs, how you enjoy the songs etc! I'd love for you to do Pink Floyds Echoes live at Pompeii. The song get's so incredibly groovy and funky at around the 6 min mark. It's just an absolute masterpiece, the video setting and all! Would love to see it!
You know what? I've been into Pink Floyd for 43 years, and I've never seen this video clip. I watched this with you guys, and I'm well seasoned. And probably the first time I've heard this song with someone else. Love that love. As real as it gets. You don't win every time. You feel the loss, then move on. Succed in something else and minimalize the importance of this one. Genuine love for The Floyd is precious. See you soon.😎

@@mgordon1100 Hi Mike I should have said “audience”, PF played this song on this video live, but it was during a day time rehearsal while on the 1994 live tour; watch closely on some of the back shots, no one in audience. Still a flawless, if not a country song.
@@steveboyes3367 Not only can I write in English, but i read English too. I can see that it's a rehearsal, and I read that even before I watched it. I still don't see this point. I've never seen this video ever before and it was made in 1994.
@@mgordon1100 I didn’t mean any harm; I was just offering some light on it. I’ve also been a big fan since early 70s and ran across the main video a couple years ago and went digging why I hadn’t seen it until then as well. My apologies.
The name Pink Floyd comes from the first names of two black American bluesmen named Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.

I had not seen nor heard this before. For whatever reason it didn’t make the cut for most shows on this tour nor the video release. But I think this is better than the studio version. It would have added a little more organic warm feel to the Pulse concert in my opinion
@Mike Watts - I agree, they should have included one performance of every track that was played on the tour, even if it was as a supplemental feature. Lost For Words, A Great Day For Freedom, What Do You Want From Me?, Poles Apart, Marooned, On the Turning Away, One Slip, and Hey You all should have had proper representation on the PULSE DVD imo.

This was a rehearsal performance, but a very good one and I wish it was featured as an extra. Great version. Notice, no audience, except for some friends and facility people.
@@mikewatts867 it was only once or twice in Oakland. April 20 and/or 21st but I can't remember exactly. The one I heard was extremely tight but the sound quality of the recording wasn't great, unfortunately. If you get the chance, look for On the Turning Away from Foxboro, MA. The 19th of I believe May. That might be my favorite of all the performance of that song from the whole tour, and each one was actually better than the DSOT tour versions IMO.
You guys deserve more credit for not pausing sooner, lol! Loved Pink Floyd my whole life, they are the best!! They are the Beyonce, the Michael Jackson, the Prince...of their time, no one like them!
It`s a feud between David and ex member Roger Waters. Why that album is called The Division Bell.

Rehearsal dosen't have shit to do with it. David Gilmore is just bad ass. Richard Wright is bad ass. Nick Mason. There's only three original members of pinkfloyd on that stage. Nick the drummer. Richard the older guy on keyboards. And of course David Gilmore.
