The UI problem is on all Samsung TVs, I have a Samsung TV and it's the same layout, despite being a "normal" TV. Great video though! :D
I went with s90c 65 inch. Haven't tried gaming on it. Only done movies and shows. Connected a 5.1.2 atmos to it and everything is amazing. House of Usher made us jump every episode except 1. The blacks were so nice to have real blacks, combine with lightning flashes, wow. I have a ps5 connected to it and haven't tried gaming but think i should.

I have had the 77” LG C2 Oled for over a year. Meow after watching your video I just realized my tv also has Nvidia GeForce Now. Lol. I mean I already have my PS5 and Series X hooked up to it. But good to know. 144hz on that Samsung is actually pretty cool feature for a tv. Especially that size. Blasting EdM while gaming is life. Except cod. I need to hear those footsteps. Destiny pvp I play with the sound down, the finals I play with the sound down, and apex I’ll play with the sound down.

Interesting! I got the S95C a few months ago and hooked it up to my HTPC w/Nvidia 3090FE and it was HORRIBLE... but just switched it out with a Mini Fractal Terra build w/7900 XTX and it's a DREAM!!! Glad to see this video reinforcing my new experience!

what about using it a pc gaming monitor ?
Hi, I've been wondering if I should get a new CPU or GPU. Right now I have Ryzen 5 3600 paired with GTX 1660 Ti and I'm in confused whether I should buy ryzen 5 5600 or a better GPU(either 2060 super or 3060 Ti). I mostly play fortnite on low settings for performance so CPU intense task. Any advice is welcomed.
For CPU, go for the 5800x3d, it's the best and probably the last High end CPU for the AM4 socket. 3d vcache will help reduce FPS fluctuations in 1% lows in competitive games especially. And for graphics I'd also recommend going for AMD if your GPU budget is under $500ish, you get so much more for your money (especially VRAM with proper wide bus width, don't be fooled by the 4060 ti 16gb! You'll hit other bottlenecks in the card before using all the vram)

Uh, you kinda missed the entire point of the one connect box by mounting it behind the tv ánd wall mounting it. Now you have like 4-5 cables sticking out under tv instead of 1 thin, almost clear coated cable.

Best 2023 TV goes to the Sony A85L it has won two TV shootouts out of 4. Samsung's best TV is actually the S95B. I also heard people say they have drop out problems with S95C.
I can confirm that the blackouts are a problem haha I have been using this tv for a good while now and I have tried so many things to get the blackouts to stop happening. I’ve mange to decrease the blackouts like 2 or 3 times an hour. I just order a HDMI 2.1 fiber optic cable hoping that will stop the tv from losing connection. I just can’t go away from this tv when the picture looks this good, for gaming anyway.
Just tried out and returned the Alienware 3225 4K QD OLED 32” because the tv just blew the monitor away. It just looks so good and I can’t get over it lol I wish they would make this in a 42”-48” size. I know they have the C2s and C3s but they can’t deliver the pop that this tv can. I just wish they wouldn’t have shipped out this tv with the 4k 144hz not working properly for PC.
I also had a 65” S95B that I sold to get this 55” S95C and I can definitely say it’s an upgrade and a noticeably better picture(when it works)
I just go a sweet deal on the tv 55in for 1100 I’m waiting on it to be delivered
Quality control is lackluster at Samsung.

I have heard that the S90C is better than the S95C due to connection issues with the one connect box (reported by numerous owners). The s90c reportedly has a better peak SDR brightness. Its also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper with extremely minimal differences in picture. The s90c also has a center stand whereas the s95c doesnt. They each have pros and cons over each other but are so similar that I don't believe the price jump for the s95c is worth it personally. There are pros with the s95c over the s90c that i havent mentioned. Supposedly has better OLED burn-in protection. Better HDR peak brightness/performance. But like I said its all so minimal that I don't find it worth the price jump personally. Stop the FOMO recommends the s90c for gamers. The 55" s90c is like $1,300 which compared to the lg c3 is a no brainer. If you want to take the chance with one connect issues and have a large budget, and you consume a lot of HDR content, then the s95c might be for you.
The S95C is the better TV.

Can confirm that the blackout issues are real. Ive managed to decrease the blackout issues to 2-3 per hour. I’ve had this tv since it launched and I can’t go away from it because the picture looks too good on this tv compared to anything else I’ve owned. A90J, C2, S95b, Alienware 32” 4K QD OLED. It just pops the way no other tv/monitor has. I just wish they would’ve never shipped the tv out with a 4k 144hz blackout issue for PC. But I’m dealing with that because it looks so good, it’s astonishing haha

The current tv market is so messed up.
- Great panels ruined with horrible UI's
- Minimalistic remotes (does it really matter if it weigh 100g more?)
- Outdated software
I used to be all about big tvs until I realized smaller tvs or monitors have better quality. Maybe when 8k is standard a 77" will be a good idea. Now it's just a waste of money for a crappy picture.
Why doesn't anybody talk about the fact that this tv can only send 40gb p/s instead of the HDMI specs 2.1 that must transport 48gb p/s!??
This is not a HDMI 2.1 tv because of the one connect fiber cable that can only send 40gb!
If it exceed the gb, the tv blacks out.

If any gamers on here are looking to buy this TV to use with the PS5, BEWARE that the one connect box is having issues with the PS5. It’s all over Reddit and the Samsung community blog. I am hoping Samsung can resolve this issue because I love the TV but I am a gamer and I cannot game in peace while having intermittent “flickering” with this TV turning on and off repeatedly and randomly. At the time of purchasing, none of the reviews I watched mentioned this issue which sucks because I have no idea how I am going to return this to Best Buy…
