The new banana flavoured cruz vodka, and more - 2020 has been without a doubt super busy and fruitful for musician and producer, AKA, that it was only right for Slikour to pay him a young visit to catch up.
Following shortly after the Cassper Nyovest interview, one would think AKA would use this opportunity to respond - but instead, he is calm, collected and draws the attention to himself, his moves, mistakes, and his growth. First touching on the EP, Bhovamania, AKA, speaks on his love for the sport of wrestling, how it massively influenced this body of work, as well as how he sonically challenged himself to make something new - while throwing all the rules out the window. Something he would never do on an album.
Having worked with the new and exciting artist, Flame, on his single "Casino" which also features Sho Madjozi, AKA reflects on working with Flame, and how he never thought he would meet an artist so driven and passionate like him. He also state how he hopes the artist never falls into the same mistakes that he fell into.
If you're on the social streets; then you definitely are aware of the beef that AKA had with Sizwe Dhlomo, as well as his viral tweets regarding his deal with Reebok for the SNEAKA. The musician touches on this, as he states where exactly he and Sizwe Dhlomo now stand, and explains what he meant by saying he did not receive any money from Reebok.

It wouldn’t work 😂 MacG has no filter and his emotional intelligence is questionable. From this interview you can tell that Aka doesn’t really like criticism - his energy changes. I don’t feel like MacG would be able to read that energy change so it would go left really quickly.

Slikour wasn't himself, he allowed his bias of being a Cas fan to take over. As a result, that made him ineffective in this interview.
AKA has BEEN overpowering Slikour.... Even during his interview about the formation of his now collapsed management company, Beam Group, he simply took over.

This interview was great and enjoyable. If you were expecting the Casper subject, the boxing match and shit, please go to the other side. Sometimes it's just great to listen to someone, get to know them and their shit without controversies. Been listening to this guy's interviews for years, I must say, this was one of his best.
