Heat shrink is a great hack especially for assist hook rigging and wire trace making! I’m a custom rod builder and often I have metallic threads leftover and I make many different types of jigs , this one looks similar to one I make very fast, using a tiny amount of hot glue to hold a bunch of threads together on the hook and then shrink tube over the top, this method I can have a 4 hook sabiki tied in the time it takes to conventionally tie a single fly
Great tutorial but ONE fatal flaw. By not moistening the line before you tighten up your knots you have weakened your line by over 60%. That's how by missing this basic task could loose you the trophy fish of a lifetime. If you're going to show construction of rigs at least show correct procedures for anglers to get the best out of your rigs.....
