Thank u so much sir ur good information we have exam tomorrow
If you count WBCs on the central square and there is no error in your counting, would your final result tally with that obtained from large comer squares?
thank you so so much
Tq sooooooo much 🙏❤️
Thank you sir👍
Do we have to put our fluid between coverslip and chamber.?
This is amazing
Plz, will you help me that , from where we have to start counting in "L" marking .how many boxes we have to count
Thank you
Informative
Thank you sir
Thanku sir 🙏🙏
Man ur an angel
thank you so much💘💘
Co aaamii
Nice sharing 👍
What is 0.05 in the leukocyte formula ,total count=N×0.05×10^9/L
Good day sir. Why do you multiply by 50?
Thank you for the great explanation
when both sides of chamber counted to we use total square of 8? or there is no need to count both sides of the chamber ?
Thank you
Doesn't the " leave lower left " rule mean that we shouldn't take into account the wbcs lying at lower and left position?
Didn't you say the opposite?
what is the color of diluting fluid are you using??
شكرا انا وصديقتي جنت اقرره وعدنه امتحان عملي غداا
Thanks
Why does the acetic acid destroy rbc but leave wbc intact ?
Thank u sir
at 1:00 you said to draw the blood sample using your mouth or a syringe. Isnt mouth pipetting outdated and really dangerous? we were taught in the lab to never use our mouths to aspirate samples and use an aspiration bulb instead
Thanks tomorrow is my practical exam i am waching her
Nice vdo
شكراً
We're did you buy the kit from

Nice
good job 🎉🎉🎉 but try sir to explain more slowly please 🙈🙈
Why the number of WBC Multiplied with 50 ?
Tq sir
Great
Why few drop is discarded before charging ??
The pipette is designed in such a way that the liquid in the long tube of the pipette does not take part in the dilution and mixing inside the bulb. So to get the most accurate result, the liquid within this long tube (first few drops) is discarded. Also the liquid in the long tube contains only the diluting fluid. All the cells have been sucked into the bulb. So the diluting fluid in the long tube cannot not take part in the counting and so has to be discarded. Hope that answered ur query.
? Why we uousing diluting solution
Allah bless you for this
Thanks 😊😊
Good explain 🥀🥀
My kind regards
Thank you very much ❤️
Why multiply by 50?
You will tent the pipette not shake bz destroying of wbc occures by shaking it
Thank you …..but why we multiply in 50
What 50 consider to cross it with sum of No.of cells in all 4 squares
The formula is : total no of cells× diluting factor(20) /area of squares ( 4×1= 4) × depth (0.1) .... Which on solving becomes no of cells × 50
I hope it helps
Anatomy & physiology
Can the pipetting be done without the mouth
Use insulin syringe to aspirate.
Why i am here? Cause Only 3 hours left for my exam.
Noice
👍
Y do we discard the 1st 2 drops
discard 1-2 drops cause the stem of the pipette is more diluted so contains less cells
👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍
Low power microscope means 10x or 40x???????????
10x obj
Please can you send me in writing to report this practical work
😂😂😂 are you serious? write it yourself
Med student from Ohio
Why first few drops are discarded ??
This is due to the fact that there is little or no WHITE BLOOD CELLS in the thin capillary tube as all the cells are drawn into the bulb by the rising diluent. Using the first few drops can give very misleading results as it will further dilute any sample which comes out of the bulb onto the counter. Sorry for not seeing this question a year ago

Plz explain a bit more about depth factor n dilution factor.🙏
Extremely sorry for late reply. Dilution factor is simply the number of times the blood sample is diluted , in this case 20 times. So dilution factor is 20. Dilution factor = total volume of sample (blood + diluting fluid) ÷ volume of blood sample taken. So its 100÷0.5
Depth factor is 10, in this case . Depth factor is 10 times of 0.1mm (which is the depth of the space between the coverslip and the counting chamber surface. In order to arrive at the number of cells per cu.mm, we need to make the depth 10times because the area of a counting square is already 1x1mm, so we have to make the volume of a counting square as 1x1x1mm
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy nice explanation. Thanks so much. However, I think that "100÷0.5" you wrote as formula for getting dilution factor is for RBC count. In this case, (for WBC count) it is approximately 10÷0.5.
Plz, correct me if I'm wrong.
