Just came here to say the same thing. I have really fond memories of being a senior in high school and staying up late at night listening to stuff like this, falling down CZcams holes and such - and sleeping throughout my whole first period every day.
I remember first listening to this when I was little when my older brother was still in his junior and senior year. now I’m 19 in college, I know this song will always hold a special place in our hearts and many others. the nostalgia is real

I used to play RuneScape too. 2 different times. The first was like around 2005 give or take. And the second was it first came out, I came back only for PKing, as that was my favorite feature in the game. I played LOL 2 times too, around the same time frame.

All the people commenting that they want to know whats written on the paper are stupid. There isn't anything written on the paper, it's meant to symbolize a solution to the problems in their lives. The song is about how Dumb was struggling trying to live his dream, but then he found some success and now he feels good, hopeful and "Up in the Air" (though his flying on planes is part of the metaphor too). That's what makes this video good, it subtly tells the story of the song in a beautiful way.
