this was a pretty crazy round. at some points i was close to losing and giving up and the latter part was also unpredictable even though i made the comeback.
To all the people wondering why Peach suicided at the end there, here's my thought. The computers (especially S ranked characters) are designed to prioritize buying out a shop from a dominated district held by an opponent. This obviously wrecks your investment potential there. Peach had a free card to go to any shop, and selected the buy-out that was most likely in the district with your highest "investment ratio" at the time (it's a statistic under the individual standings menu). The silly part is, I've noticed a break down in logic (probably poor coding) when the opponent they are buying out from has already hit the target amount. The logic check to see if the computer is holding enough cash to even execute the buy-out doesn't seem to run correctly. So Peach intended to buy you out, and would have if she had the money to do so. Instead, she just bankrupts herself because she can't pay the shop prices, let alone the 40k+ it would have cost for the buy-out price. This effect is very pronounced in large running games (target amount of over 100k). For further support of this theory, get into a large game where a computer opponent has a ton of money (50k), but little property. (Easy to do, just trade for their shops and grossly overpay). Notice they will steal your dominated districts left and right, even if it costs them 70%+ of their net worth to do so.

guys did you notice when peach and daisy both chose to go to the expensive shops because they got a venture card that makes them warp. That's probably why they chose to go there, which was dum on there part.
i notice that when they do that, they're intending to buyout that space. I had it happen where i had a 30% increase shop prices, which put the cpu trying to buy me out unable to do so. Next move they were basically down to 1k net worth
After you hit 'Yes' to land on a space, it takes the payment from your net worth, which if even selling all stocks or all your properties is not enough, the game will immediately bankrupt you.
when you have to sell shops when you're short on money, you only get 75% of the money from the sale. that means that if she started selling her shops, she'd be below 0 and would go bankrupt.
thats not necessarily the best idea because im pretty sure that when you reach the target amount the AI doeant buy you out anymore making it much easier
