This video tackles the subject of kendrapati dosha in vedic astrology. What is kendrapati dosha and it's misconceptions. Kendrapati dosha occurs for gemini, virgo, sagittarius and pisces ascendants because Jupiter and Mercury both rule the kendra houses, however for Gemini and Virgo ascendant only Jupiter is the cause of kendra pati dosha, for Sagittarius and Pisces ascendant only Mercury causes the kendrapati dosha, this is because 1st house is not only kendra house but also a trikon house.
These videos are based on the ancient science of Vedic Astrology known as Jyotish in India. These programs are to educate everyone on the importance and accuracy of astrology why it still matters. Astrology is not so easy to understand and it's not that difficult to master. Ok. So that's my case. I'm Gemini rising with exalted Jupiter in 2nd by itself. It's in Scorpio in Asc with Moon and Mars in D-9. I will start my Jupiter magadasha in about 7 years. So, when I'm not sure i look at numerology as a backup. And it says I will have a long-standing dream come true, leadership opportunities and such. Co-incidently my wealthy but spending too much fiancé is planning to be debt free by this time :) I always wanted to have my own scholarship/charity.

@@K2Astrology absolutely agree!! I am in rahu Mercury….Mercury is exalted with Jupiter and Saturn in tenth so money is ok. But the chaos and ups and downs is rough. My Jupiter saved me as far as I have a home and have a job but everything else is nuts . My relationship is up and down. My emotions are all over but bc I have rahu in 8th. I too have a Gemini ascendent with Jupiter in 10th house in Pisces. I don't get desired results. I put more than my abilities in studies but I've never tasted success. I've to settle down everytime for pretty normal things. According to my Astrologer this is because of Kendradosha.

I consider it bad only when Mercury or Jupiter are in bad houses. Otherwise Hamsa and Bhadra yog aren't possible without both rashi in kendra.

Please clarify this statement: the rulers of houses 3, 6 and 11 give bad results and should be considered as adverse planets, for the ascendant ?
The ancient texts on astrology were with emphasis on House number 15 and 9 which are called Dharma Trikona as the focus of those ancient writers was righteous living or spiritual pursuits and not the monetary matters. However nowadays the house 2 6 10 ie Artha Trikona and 3 7 11 Kama Trikona ie have become much more important. So Dasha of 3rd Lord will disturb mental peace by being 12th Lord to the 4th house....of 6th house will make one work hard....of 11th house will bring gains in terms of money but also disturbed comfort by being in 8th position to the 4th house. So these houses materialistically give lot of benefits but not in terms of spirituality or righteous conduct. That is why they have been told to bring adverse results as per ancient texts.

The truth is, the vast results DO happen. The reason I searched for this topic at all is bcoz I vaguely remembered reading about it and bcoz someone close to me has it. She is a virgo ascendant with jupiter exalted in cancer. I used to think the period would be good for her bcoz of the exaltation. Instead I saw her giving up her job at which she was brilliant, losing both parents suffering great discomfort and utter misery. In fact her life seems almost to have ended..in terms of fortune. So I kept thinking why why why did this happen and what's the reason...so. that's why I was saying, actually explaining what happened would have been more helpful. It's no point being scared of ANYTHING. ..if its in the horoscope chances are it will happen. And u spoke about the real thing for about 2 mins only!
