Check the operating time of the light after the battery is full. A longer operating time means you'll have light all night or for as long as you need it.
They all have on and off switches to conserve power but i had them all summer and they ran all night. Now when fall hit with less sun, the hanging lights turned off at 1-2am. That's when it was time to retire them. Plus it is to cold now!
Make sure that the solar lights provide enough bright and quality light to serve your lighting purposes. A warm and pleasant light often creates a more comfortable space.
I'm in love with these lights. I wanted to get lighting done but it was so expensive. The hanging lights provide the comfort where as the others are nice and bright. Especially along the side of the house and seawall!
Its easy enough to bury low voltage wire if you are physically able and have somewhere to plug it. High quality low voltage will last decades. I searched for high build quality solar, but never found any. Believe me, I truely wanted to go solar, but I'm egstatic with the metal build Hamoton Bay setup I ended up with.
