Little neat detail I found out when watching a filmmaker’s analysis of the demo, that moment when the candle flames get really intense and sephiroph’s shadow just gets huge on the wall? They accomplished that by just shutting off the rest of the light sources in that environment. Effectively treating it like a movie set.
thats one way to do a demo leaving you with both a wtf and shocked reaction and wanting to play more

You know its funny that we are playing in the multiverse, and in this universe Cloud actually made it as a soldier and there isn't a Zack here.
So hey, did you know that prolonged sleep deprivation can result in aggression, paranoia, hallucinations, depersonalization, and symptoms of psychosis? Adding all of that to the severe existential crisis that Sephiroth was already having, it was basically like throwing gasoline on a fire. Obviously what he did to Nibelheim wasn't Zack's fault, but I almost wish the game showed or mentioned him trying a little bit harder to get Sephiroth out of that basement throughout the week.
Also, having rewatched your Remake reaction videos, it was VERY distressing to realize that that part in the start of the game, with Sephiroth in the alleyway saying, "Run away, you have to leave, you have to live" was him provoking Cloud with his mother's last words………

Played in graphics mode! Performance was too smooth for my liking, and I kept it on graphics mode XD
