      Apparently, you didn't look up the facts and neither did the replies to this. She told people she was Russian because nobody from America had a goddamn clue where Ukraine was when she moved there with her family in the 90s. She said it was easier to just let people believe that instead of trying to educate people. Also, her family speaks Russian. (Nothing irregular about that with Ukrainians.)

      Ukraine and Russia use to be the same country for centuries. Ukraine never was a country untill break of USSR and on DNA level you cannot see any difference between Russian and Ukrainian. Its like if you separate some day Siberia and people there start to call them selves Siberians (hint - they still gonna be russians not matter what political separation you invent)

    I love this. She is basically saying she tries to be as Altruistic as humanly possible. And stating that by drawing attention to yourself it defeats the purpose and makes the motive or intent not altruistic. There's some kind of gain from it. The fact she does lots of stuff and DOESN'T need to brag about it, stuff we will never know about, I think speaks massively to how much character she has.

    Her sudden ukrainian belonging declaration is just political opportunism after what the beginning of the russian military operation in Ukraine in february 2022. She did not want to appear on the ''wrong side'' She might be born in Ukraine, but russian is her mother tongue and her family is culturally russian. So from her this is a cheap shot.made to please her public.

    Now this is the perfect person who should be honored for her philanthropy instead of Harry n Meghan! (Although I'm pretty sure she cares little about awards herself.) I mean what a wonderful thing she has done here with her husband n many others to help the Ukrainian people. A good kind human being. Kerry Kennedy you made a huge mistake by ignoring people like Mila and Ashton instead honoring Harry and Meghan for nonexistent kudos fighting a racism that doesn't exist only in their lie filled Oprah interview.

      @Alex Alex Funny quote from 2014:
      Ukrainian-American actress Mila Kunis refused to discuss the conflict in Ukraine because she "doesn’t identify" during a particularly cold and awkward interview with Star-Ledger - according to the publication.
      The actress, who moved from Chernivtsi, Ukraine at the age of seven, shirked off the reporter’s line of questioning when she was asked about her immigrant background.
      I guess now it's cool for her to be from Ukraine.

    • @sweetielady7710
      @sweetielady7710 Před 10 měsíci

      Agreed. She comes off as very narcissistic in my opinion. She and Ashton pledged $30 million to which they only donated 10% ($3k… so not even a fourth despite their combined net worth of over $200 million). They asked hardworking Americans who are just trying to make ends meet to donate the remaining $27 million… to Airbnb and flexport, both companies Ashton invested in. So basically, she asked people to put more money into their pockets. So why is she being treated as though she walks on water or something?
