With the inconsistencies in the Morgan and Taylor storyline, at least it's still entertaining. The Rick/Amber/Deacon triangle is so boring.

What's wrong with this show?! I mean, I'm expecting more than the shooting some couple do before the wedding and then edited with to the actual wedding footage. It's a soap with a professional camera crew...
I guess we are going to endure these memories just like the Brooke and Thorne's ones in Venice....
My memory carried that "Heaven" montage longer than it should. It was cute, though.

Skin deep described Brooke & Ridge, as well, same thing with Brooke & Deacon. Amber & Deacon were a great pairing

They should change the name of the show to the Amber Kissing show. During this Season, Amber's lips are puckered every time she makes an appearance. Wonder if she has mono.

ITA. Little Eric might have had an easier life without being moved from home to home and Amber then might not have ended up trying to con someone with another man's baby (again).
But unfortunately, Amber is still in love with Rick and not really interested in Deacon.

*Amber and Deacon's Elopement*
Even though Amber and Deacon's trip to Las Vegas doesn't end in an actual marriage (which one might have anticipated given the location), the scene in the tattoo parlor feels like a kind of "wedding" - the two of them Iying next to each other, and instead of exchanging rings they are joined together by an equally "permanent" symbolic rituaI (their matching tattoos).
This makes the connection between this storyline and the Venice scheme even stronger, because Deacon and Amber eloping to Las Vegas and getting rebound tattoos is the equivalent of Thorne and Macy eloping to Amsterdam and getting married on the rebound.
Both these couples were brought together through a staged "scene of betrayaI" - Brooke on the bed with Ridge in Venice, and Rick on the bed with Amanda in San Francisco. Both Thorne and Amber reacted by turning to someone whom they could count on for emotional support - Macy and Deacon, respectively. And both Brooke and Rick discovered the setup, and then tried in vain to find their fiancé/e and explain what had actually happened.
In the end, both the "rebound pairings" will break up, the engaged couples will reunite, and the schemes will have faiIed.
The difference between these two storylines is that in the Rick/Amber/Deacon scenario, there will be a _second_ rebound relationship caused by the breakup of the first rebound relationship. Deacon, himself a rebound, will rebound to Bridget.
If Macy was hlt by a troIIey, Bridget will be hlt by a ricochet. But both women end up in marriages destined to destroy them.
And Brooke is integral to the destruction of both marriages. Her "destiny" is to be a narrative weapon of destruction.

Brooke was absolute BAD ASS mother in here, similar as Stephanie! Never understood HOW they made Stephanie more superior when her own daughters were all over the place, not loving her, and her sons, MORE all over the place! And don't get me started with her marriage with Eric! 😂
Brooke actually isn't similar to Steph in any way. She'd love to be the next Forrester matriarch.. But not happening.
It's been made clear in the show both Steph's daughters left on good terms with their mother (with Felicia even having returned in 1997/8 to support her mother for the wedding between her parents - which incidentally was thwarted by Lauren and Sally).
Steph's daughters are just living their own lives, exactly the way bridgit will be doing when she leaves LA to finish her medical degree.

Brooke returned from Big Bear and suddenly decided to care about her son? Where was she all this time? Brooke wants to be Stephanie almost as much as her fans want her to be 😂
