Please get a new audio guy. I can barely hear the guy talk, and when I turn the volume up the music hits me like a hammer
I totally agree! The voice-over and the music are a massive mismatch when it comes to the audio levels. 🤦
Whole Heartedly agree
You guyz should have made a comparison video of newly launched suzuki vstrom 800DE vs Honda transalp 750 mentioning the pros & cons of both these bikes by comparing one on one.
Thanks for sharing the video
Honestly the bike looks kickass in the white trim, it’s expensive but priced like a Honda and will be reliable so it’s not a surprise. The 19inch tube tyre is a bit of a let down honestly.
Not 19inch brother
The front tyre is of 21inch & the rear one is of 18inch
Great video, ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This bike heats up in traffic and it HEATS up !
Just bought this a month ago and having done 1,000 kms, I can tell you that for it's engine size it actually heats less. Heat management is excellent and the bike cools down as the vehicle gets moving. Definitely not as hot as the 850 GS nor Tiger 850
@@vkirishv thank you. But I was planning to use this as my daily commuter in traffic as well. How would you rate it in traffic ?
I take it to office twice a week. My office is in the outskirts of the city and I'm inside core Chennai area. The one way commute is 36 kms. If you're in a stop and go traffic for a long time, the engine temperature will cross 100°C and you'll feel the heat on your foot. But once the vehicle gets moving, the temp drops to 90° or lower and you won't feel a thing. The heat management ensures the engine cools very quickly.
I was also promised a mileage of 23 kmpl but have been getting 24!
Its definitely not a small capacity bike and so it's hear can't be compared to them
Probably the least amount of engine heat from mine of any bike I've ever owned.
I am not really bothered about the price tag much, its the tubed tyres that got me scratching my head, I mean they could have given it as an option like the quickshifter
You can get the ones on africa twin if it is available with your dealer. It is a direct fit, costs close to a lakh.
@@ZRYDR yeah ive heard that.
Not all information on the current TFT:
1. No airtemprature indicator.
2 No range to empty indicator.
3. No backlit switches.
Bhai thoda dheere bol lo
The biggest let down is tube tyre in bike 11 lac ex showroom. Bash plate , quick shifter , main stand should have been standard.
Totally agree brother.
Same goes with the newly launched adventure motorcycle from suzuki vstrom 800DE, this also comes with tube tyres.
Only one issue with both the two japanese beauty
@@abhishekdasgupta1640 yes in 800 DE also, no standard quick shifter and tall wind screen. They are selling as AFV but not giving these as standard. KTM is doing a very fine job.
@@barun9665 QS is standard in V-Strom 800DE. Vee is slightly ahead of the competition as it packs more features for less money (80k cheaper than Transalp here in Bangalore), has better suspension setup, seating comfort for both rider and the pillion is superior in Vee.
Transalp is lighter (although you don’t feel the weight at all while riding the Vee), sounds exciting, clutch is super light and the gearbox is precise & buttery smooth.
You wouldn’t go wrong with either of them. I picked up V-Strom as it felt more engaging than the Honda for me.
But it’s a shame that neither of them comes with tubeless setup (V-Strom 650 had tubeless spokes setup) or cruise control.
@@arunkumars362 fine QS is standard . But still tubeless spoke, bash plate, main stand, tall windshield should be standard in this class.
We're not treated fairly
@@barun9665 We are used to products like KTM 390, Himalayan 450, Triumph Speed etc. and always think from VFM standpoint. But you cannot expect VFM products from manufacturers at every segment. Each manufacturer will have different product at different segment. VStrom and Transalp fall under mid segment adventure tourers and in this segment most of the brands charge separately for center stand, crash guards, bash plates etc. And it is standard all over the world, not specific to India. Manufacturers like BMW and Triumph may offer more features in their mid segment vehicles but the price is also 20-30% premium than the Japanese bikes.
Having said that I still feel tubeless tyres are must haves for this price irrespective of the segment.
