This is the last and final video to "THE RIVER X" series. This has to be one of the greatest honors of my life to have been a part off. To say that I was probably the first person to fly fish this section of the river is something incredibly special.

I enjoyed the tigerfish videos and the enthusiasm of the host. However, one of the chief tenets of catch-and-release is to minimize stress on the fish. Tigerfish fishing is amazing enough without the need to sensationalize the experience by using a five-weight rod. If you watch all the videos, you can see how fatigued the five-weight fish were upon release.
Been patiently awaiting this next episode and boy, it didn’t disappoint. Thanks for the brilliant entertainment. The downside is that I now have to wait for the next one!! Keep them lines tight!!

Is your reel setup for what they call a left hand retrieval?
Is there a closed season over there? I have three months off from December and looking for somewhere warm to fish for a week or two
Yes and unfortunately it starts in December as the rains are expected at that time every year! Late November can either be the best fishing with water levels at their lowest or with the rains having come early! Always next season though!
