You can do that as well if you wish to preserve your own made glue from mold. As it will last 1 to 2 days on the counter in a covered container or 1 to 2 weeks if it's being refrigerated. ☺️

Probably the corn starch isn't fully dissolved, keep low heat and stirring while boiling

Try using a whisk when mixing and when it is on the stove.

It depends on the type of surfaces it's being used on. Using it for artworks (sticking paper onto paper) would last for considerable amount of time.

Um I guess we'll see? cuz i accidentally sortof made (and ate) this by adding too much cornstarch to the water of a mac and cheese cup and microwaved it. I was only trying to make the cheese sauce thicker as its usually wayyy too runny.
Yeah, people use corn starch for their baking and since it doesn't have a taste it's good for it. With that logic adding water to it shouldn't stop it from being edible
