In fairness 9/11 was not an isolated incident. You had the world trade center bombing of 1993 (intended to drop the towers), the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania plus the 2000 attack on the USS Cole. They had been interfering in our business for a while.

The USA is a big country, if you have such a vague memo describing an intent of attack threat that has been manifesting for decades without any specific idea of exactly when or how the attack would happen, I can’t think of anything useful the President could have done to stop 911.

I probably would have helped if we had the citizens of our country be responsible and tell the FBI that they were teaching people how to fly planes that they didn't want to land. Many of those prisoners are suspected to be ISIS-K fighters. Don't forget he demanded, on behalf of the Taliban, that Pakistan release Mullah Abdul Baradar the head of the taliban. He also excluded the recognized Afghanistan government in the negotiations. This all gave and made the Taliban the legitimate government of Afghanistan.
