I just discovered this setup and it looks perfect for my old axial ax10 that has very limited room for an esc.
Thanks for putting up this video. The “S” is actually a symbol of a digital pulse wave. Signifying that there is a positive voltage, a negative voltage, and the signal voltage which in servos and the like is a digital pulsed signal.
How do I switch driving modes like on stock. I like putting it on training mode when the kids play
Big Question. This motor is Great !!! But Now to Add the Traxxas light kit involves an ESC. Well the Fusion has IT built in. So whats the Solution ? That would be a great Video !! but this is a great Video Also , thumbs up !!
I have a question. How did you wire the light housing that normally connects to the stock Traxxas xl5 ESC ??
Red connects to receiver but where’d you wire the black?
I have same Q .. no lights!
I cut the red connector that goes to the esc off, soldered an old servo lead to the wires and ran that straight to the receiver. As long as the bec is a 6v that will power the lights. You do also have to plug the red wire into the receiver as well. So both wires plug into the receiver.

That soso much dud thanks you help a lot I am good at working on all rc truck and cares just the programming part I'm not that good and your video helped so much thank you why I Love CZcams it always helps to solve a problem I just got the same motor 5 days ago in my Redcat gen 8 eventually I'm going to work on getting a TRX 4 or the trx Sport so it can set beside my slash 4x4 that I made it to be a vxl I got to make a drag slash with it and its going to be a 4x4 drag slash

One question, the rocklights you have on the chassis are they Powered bij a free channel on the reciever? Because there is no power feed Anymore of the xl5 speedcontroller grtz

Hey there i want to run servo at 7.4v but won't that run the 7.4 through the receiver As well? Let's say im running a stock reciver won't that just burn it up?
Can I install this with my stock gearing on the trx4 or my 6? And what speed does it get
So this is a question about the HW Fusion 1800. I have a strange issue; not sure if issue or feature but here goes. So I set the drag braks ( setting 7 ) to the max 9. It seems though that anything I set on Drag Brake Rate ( setting 8 ) has no effect .. or only partial. Even set to 1 if I shortly blip the throttle, instantly as I let go the wheels lock up again. Only if I full throttle it for about a second and let go it will slow down gradually to a stop. Again ... only with throttle blips ... it immediately locks up as soon as I let go. As a comparison I also have a AXE 550 R2 and that behaves much smoother while braking even if I only blip the throttle. Can you confirm this behaviour on the Fusion system ?
Hey Charlie what's the recommend wieght range on this system? My trx4 sport is a lil under 8lbs was wondering if I should go with this or the 540 2300kv
RPM/Throttle Matching Intermediate Mode is missing, Auto-Drag-Brake is missing, Bluetooth is missing. 1800kv is great for slow Crawling, 2300kv has more top-speed and is good for slow crawling. you cant go wrong, but i prefer the axe foc...

I just installed this in my Axial Capra number 2 and am liking this. The 2 in 1 eliminates motor wires and an physical esc which saves space. Also been hearing the 540 and 550 AXE systems are being discontinued, is that true? if so will the Fusion come out with a 2300 kv version? or the 550 spec version with 2700 or 3300 kv?
So I got it to work then turned it off. Turned it on again later that day and it started moving backwards on its own. Now I don’t have any control on acceleration but I can steer. I already reset the esc with the program card and nothing
Do the Quicrun 10BL60 Sensored brushless ESC and the Quicrun 3650 motor work with TRX4? I have installed them but the car goes backwards when accelerating forward on the remote control. DO you know why?
My hobby wing keeps coming uncalibrated and is having a hard time recalibrating it. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or not.

I bought a hobbywing fusion combo and when trying to calibrate for the first time, it would not flash green after holding the button down for a couple of seconds
After pressing the button the first time after the beeps start, the beeps stop and nothing after that
How can you reconnect the Traxxas light kit to the quicrun system?

Hi, I am really interested in buying a fusion, but could you please let me know how you energy supplied the traxxas leds module? As there is no more the required jst plug coming from the stock trx esc. Thanks !

Hello I have a dumb question, as I’m relatively green to rc cars, I have a Capra with you guys hobbywing fusion 1800kv and I’m having a decent issue with my throttle controls, forward works fine but whenever I engage reverse the car goes full throttle, I’ve tried using the programming card and tuning it down to 25% and it has absolutely zero low speed control. Would binding it yet again solve this issue. Everytime I hold down the switch to reset the combo it just beeps at me until I turn the unit completely off. Any tips to help me out? Any response would be greatly appreciated

I'll be running a reefs 555 an a proline dual led lightbar 6v-12v and a winch the reefs 422hdv2 ill need a bec what bec should I use
