What do you use to prime your eyes?
I always use the Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer (shop-links.co/...) and I set that with a translucent powder.
I love Modern Renaissance. I remember when it released, it was such a almost new color story and everyone went crazy for it. I almost panned my first one after a month. I'm currently on my 3rd, although i rarely use it now. It almost makes me sad, and miss the way releases used to be.... there weren't releases every other day, the excitement was real, and palettes were used and talked about for awhile. Now it's a new palette every other day and you never see again after the first round of reviews. I love the look, classic!

I still use it lol, it’s my regular go to palette. I have wine colored hair so it just works.

This is one of the nicest looks I’ve ever seen with that palette, and I love this palette! The shadows you chose play really nicely together. It looks very autumnal.

Gorgeous look & very helpful! I had an OTT red & green look planned for lunch at mom's assisted living, but woke up with very dry, angry underbrow area (too much metallic waterproof makeup & too much drying type setting spray lol). I used this as insp to carve out my eye with gentle crayon & liquids, and used my one gloss shadow, in coppery-gold, which is the only thing that will set on top of dimethicone gel over petrolatum salve lol... But it looks really nice & festive so thank you (& thanking myself for picking up some creamy & moisturizing matte products)!

I'm glad u did a new look with the MR, considering we we're just talking about it a few wks ago lol. U have done a lot of tutorials with the palette so its great to see a fresh take n a new look with it. It's the only ABH palette I have. I'm not thrilled with the colors on darker skin tone but it is a good palette, I like how soft n blendable the shades are so seeing something new to try with it is cool.

Mascara brush issue: snip it down with a small scissors to make it a bit more narrow.

Should I get modern renaissance or soft glam
Well you know the 12 days of Christmas begin on Christmas and end on the day of epiphany or as my Mexican culture call it “Día de los tres Reyes”. (The day of three kings) kings that visit Jesus with Gold murre, and frankincense.
I just threw my modern renaissance because of mold build up. But the palette itself is old already so not surprise but i do really love the palette and hit pan few shades which its very unusual for me. Would repurchase in future. Currently trying to use up my makeup by mario ethereal palette but the love for a palette is not the same as modern renaissance 🫶🏻
