The Gifts of Healings | Liz Dowdy | Evangel Church

The gifts of healings, both plural because there are different kinds of disease which need different kinds of healing. Jesus did not always heal in the same manner, healings today can take many forms, and, on many levels, including physical and spiritual.
Healing was in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and is for today. Those with the gift of healing tend to see a great number of people healed. Those with the gift should guard against pride and self-rejection. Place your faith in God’s power and leave the results to Him.
Those with the gift have unusual faith and expectation that God can heal anyone. Physical healing is a symbol of how God wants to heal all of us spiritually. Many today are like the lame man in scripture, sick and not expecting God to do anything. God still heals.
