During the most recent preseason game against Atlanta, I observed CC making several well-executed passes, however, the receiving players experienced difficulty in securing possession of the ball. It has become evident that the team requires skilled big players who possess the ability to effectively secure rebounds.
The coach needs to train the rest of the team how to work with CC as she plays, not the other way around. The whole rest of the team can hit the middle twos.

I have been a UNLV basketball fan since the late 70's and Tark is the only one I have seen that was able to caoch the fast pace and long shooting game up until I started to watch IOWA play, Bruder understands the fast pace game and knows how to teach her players to play at their stengths. Fever coach is what I call the lazy coach, pass the ball and take high percentage shots with 1 second left on the shot clock. She believes in her players but Clark has brought the fast pace game to Indy and Indy players are not ready or know how to play that type of game.

Common Folks! CC hasn’t proven she is a dominant professional. She didn’t win a college championship. Until she can show that she can win a ship, she won’t have any coach fired. Remember, WNBA/NBA/TV Networks/Vegas want stars that are winners.. You are only as good as your last game. The league can choose who they want to represent the league. CC put women basketball on the map, but their are many women in the league in the league and that now coming up that can carry the torch if CC fails.
No she was not on a championship team. She played on her home state schools team and brought a non perennial school to the final four two years in a row. No she did not attend UConn, S.C., Tenn, LSU, or USC. These schools portal, recruit and by any means necessary get the best players nationally to play for them. She is a better human and player for having attended Iowa and not been subjected to the dregs of the perennials. She set school, league,state and national scoring records with teammates who love the game as much as she does. Watching her shoot threes, feed teammates passes when she knows they will open up, not when they are standing there open. That is what makes her great. Putting her on the Fever with Sides as her coach is the equivalent of going to a manicurist when you have a respiratory issue. Sides needs to get a lobotomy or quit.
Stop it! Iowa has the ability to use transfer portal, recruit, just like other schools. Every year small schools excel deep into tournament without even the status as the big ten conference. Seriously. What top player outside of Iowa would see value in going to Iowa. Secondly, USC has not been a powerhouse in years; yet Juju Watkins comes in from her local high school in LA and singly takes USC deep into the tournament as a freshman. BTW, JuJu Watkins had a better freshman year than CC had as a freshman & sophomore year. I submit to you that Juju will be a better pro than CC.

Coach is trying to remake CC in Her Image. CC's average possession to release is just over 4 seconds. Sides Doesn't know how to coach CC. Sides was all excited because of CC's passing game but the veterans ate not there for CC to pads too. That's not CC's fault.

I know I'm in the minority here but I didn't see anything wrong with the coach's comments. I'm sure she's going to make adjustments as a coach to maximize CC's talents, but CC will also have to make adjustments on her end to fit into the teams structure and schemes.

Common Folks! CC hasn’t proven she is a dominant professional. She didn’t win a college championship. Until she can show that she can win a ship, she won’t have any coach fired. No she was not on a championship team. She played on her home state schools team and brought a non perennial school to the final four two years in a row. No she did not attend UConn, S.C., Tenn, LSU, or USC. These schools portal, recruit and by any means necessary get the best players nationally to play for them. She is a better human and player for having attended Iowa and not been subjected to the dregs of the perennials. She set school, league,state and national scoring records with teammates who love the game as much as she does. Watching her shoot threes, feed teammates passes when she knows they will open up, not when they are standing there open. That is what makes her great. Putting her on the Fever with Sides as her coach is the equivalent of going to a manicurist when you have a respiratory issue. Sides needs to get a lobotomy or quit.
Stop it! Iowa has the ability to use transfer portal, recruit, just like other schools. Every year small schools excel deep into tournament without even the status as the big ten conference. Seriously. What top player outside of Iowa would see value in going to Iowa. Secondly, USC has not been a powerhouse in years; yet Juju Watkins comes in from her local high school in LA and singly takes USC
