    She’s so lucky that after surgery her voice became better! If would have been so sad if it was opposite...

    Perrie’s before surgery technique with her current tone would be the best

      Ikr! At least she would still be consistent with C#5. It's going to take some time, practice and rest before Perrie can start consistently supporting C#5s again.

    i feel like after her surgery. her pronunciation of words when singing became better.
    and her tone sounds less nasal and clearer
    and her vibrato became less strong.
    but this is my opinion

    I think the light tone was a bless, it fits so much more the songs and LM sound and her voice is still powerful but with some delicate and it's more lovely to the ear. I like the dark tone too, but sometimes sounded like she was struggling on high notes. BTW amazing video

      @@beanz5683 tbh even when she sang in head voice, it overshadowed the other girls, her head voice was so freaking loud it overpowered the harmonies lmao

      @LuisGustavoSO Před 3 lety +7

      But I think it's also about voice control, she learned to step back more after the surgery

  • @HOSHTASTIC
    @HOSHTASTIC Před 4 lety +37

    okay, sweet and clear.
    i really love Perrie's voice before surgery and her tone during this phase was so dark and heavy that i thought she sounds like pregnant Kelly Clarkson ksksksksksksks
    her belting was also amazing (the "DNA" Eb5 is obviously a classic amongst other notes in the mixed voice) just as her other registers (i'm bringing up also the unforgettable falsettos from "CYL" during 'Children in Need'). in my opinion the 2013-14 era which is obv after surgery / pre-'Salute' / 'Salute' era sounded much more prettier, our girl really cared about the belts as they were absolutely powerful as fuck (love the "A Different Beat" F5!) and she managed to handle them in a very great way. and well, there we are. 2015 might've been the last year for Perrie in which she didn't have so much problems with belting until The Get Weird Tour has changed everything, sometimes it was painful, the notes were strained / flat or the ones that were too hard for her were lipped. shortly ab these, it's sad that she's been also lipping since 2016/17 the much more comfortable belts like the sustained Eb5 in "Down & Dirty", sustained D5 in "NMSS", sustained C5s in "TBU" or her whole part in the bridge of "Reggaetón Lento (Remix)" along with the sustained B4 (although during the LM5: The Tour she's been doing it live a lot of times). but there always be a bright light in a tunnel, like, there are so many more notes that Perrie has attempted and they sounded like you're going to heaven. and with the fact that we're going through so much things during the COVID-19 outbreak and her voice is getting a great rest (which led to the AMAZING _Isolation Musical,_ INCREDIBLE vocals in "Break Up Song" and SLAYING the "All by Myself" cover) there are so many signs that it'll be back by the popular demand in a much better form.

    omg such a good video! I find it so crazy that we had "multiple Perrie" over the years you know!
    I've fallen in love with her dark tone when she was on xfactor bc it was so unique and so mesmerising to me! but I think her after DNA and actual voice fit so much better with the other girls/as a popstar! and I love how confident she has been over the years with her voice and how today she wants to try to sing more different stuff that she use to (same as the other girls I think...) anyway haha she's just amazing

    I prefer her lighter tone much more than her very dark voice (even tho I love her dark tone), but I miss her Salute voice so damn much! It was lighter than DNA/X factor but still was dark and very full, it was her best tone, I wish she'd work on regain the fullness her voice used to have. In Get Weird, Glory Days and LM5 her voice got much lighter but I still like it because she sounded more youthful but mature at the same time.

    This is my opinion:
    A4: Before Surgery
    Bb4: After Surgery (dark tone)
    B4: After Surgery (light tone)
    C5: After Surgery (dark tone)
    C#5: After Surgery (light tone)
    D5: After Surgery (light tone)
    Eb5: Before Surgery
    E5: After Surgery (light tone)
    F5: After Surgery (light tone)
    F#5: After Surgery (dark tone)
    G5: After Surgery (light tone)
    I guess I prefer Perrie's light tone.

    • @CenturyMixer
      @CenturyMixer  Před 4 lety +3

      She is a soprano

    • @varunravi27
      @varunravi27 Před 2 lety

      Perrie is not even close to being a mezzo-soprano. Sopranos can have "big" voices too (Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson). Perrie's low notes are far too weak for her to be a mezzo. Additionally, she's comfortable singing even E5s and F5s (when she's not straining/pushing) while mezzos often lose comfort above Eb5 unless they have great technique (Beyoncé, JoJo).
