竹枝词---A love Song--刘禹锡

It's an ancient folk song from Tang Dynasty. "晴" and "情" have the same pronunciation in Chinese. Here the author described a girl who used the question “道是无晴却有晴” （whether the weather is rainy or not) to ask the boy she liked whether love her or not.

Yáng liǔ qīng qīng jiāng shuǐ píng
杨柳青青江水平，
The willows are green, the river smoothly flows;
Wén láng jiàng shàng chàng gē shēng
闻郎江上唱歌声。
Singing over there on the waters is the lad I love.
Dōng biān rì chū xī biān yǔ
东边日出西边雨，
In the east the sun is out, in the west there is rain;
Dào shì wú qíng huán yǒu qíng
道是无晴还有晴。
