Playing a game is actually the same as working as Employer 427.
Just doing what someone intended to do for experience "freedom" for the player.
The "I love my job, hate my boss" mug... meh. I use to care about professionalism a lot. But when you realize that the majority of jobs are just exploiting your labor to funnel profits into the hands of a few... why should I care? If I'm going to be exploited I'm going to have fun with it. Job hopping beats trying to "earn" a raise. Career growth is often stagnant even if it seems like you're moving up. Because wages haven't stayed up with rising inflation. So you're just grinding slowly to get rid of a deficit. Just hop jobs. Companies only pay workers any real $ when they're competing for their value. Once they "win" you over you're just another cog in the machine. Only a VERY small % of workers are truly valued and compensated properly. Everyone else is being exploited by corporate interests that often look at cutting labor costs first whenever profit starts to dip.
