Resistor Box - Unboxing and Test

This video is about a resistor box. I bought 2 of them from Lazada to use with my multimeters. It's more convenient than individual resistors, and it lends itself well for instructional purposes. Be reminded that these are only for multimeter resistance testing. Resistor boxes should never be connected to live AC voltage, or DC voltage power source, as it will create a dangerous short circuit fault. The ones I got were good quality for the money. They provided results consistent with correct values, whether they were connected in series or in parallel. Thanks for subscribing. Stay safe!

Thanks, Interesting, did not realise that they could not be connected to power...... What would you use on a 12V power source for variable resistance ? (Auto electrical testing)

Sorry I'm not familiar with automotive electrical testing. I would not recommend this resistor box for such diagnostic use. A quick online search, though, came up with a precision variable resistor specifically for that purpose. Thanks for your comments.
