Germans are increasingly voicing doubts about whether the country can cope with large numbers of asylum seekers. As a result, Berlin’s list of so-called "safe countries of origin" is getting longer and more failed asylum seekers are being sent back. Several Balkan states were added to the list last year, resulting in a big drop in arrivals from the region. The government has now listed Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco as "safe" - this just weeks before key regional elections.
A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett, Elise Duffau and Claire Pryde.

"I am treated badly as if I was black." So, it would be OK if a Black person was being discriminated against, then? And, just for the record, I have been to Germany several times, including this year, and I found the Germans very courteous and welcoming. I also found several people of ethnic minority background, and they seemed to be on good terms with the indigenous people. But, that's my experience.

Just what are 'refugee rights'? They more or less enter the European countries illegally. If their petition for asylum is refused they should be happy they are getting a ticket home. If you cannot adapt to the way that your new country functions then why should you expect their giving in to your wishes? They were there first.
'Refugee rights' are these 1. to apply for a work permit. Germany is not required to grant that request nor are they required to grant asylum. 2. I commend The Europeans for paying failed asylum seekers back home.
Why are these people not banding together to fix their home country before migrating and trying to screw up somebody else's country?

Even from humanitarian point of view, hosting nations such as Germany should think twice about their capacity to accommodate
asylum seekers from abroad. It`s a matter of course for hosting countries to put priority on vested interest of their own people. It`s a completely different matter from racism. The Japanese government revised the Immigration Control and Refugee-Recognition Law recently, and it would allow more immigrants from abroad. I`m afraid that Germany`s problem today will be Japan`s problem tomorrow.
