- Here's a quick tutorial video on how to do an automated patch switching setup on the NUX MG30. This is a really convenient setup especially when you are in your personal or home studio where you want your go-to multifx devices within arms reach. No need to bring down your rig to the floor for "tap dancing" on the foot switches so you can just focus on your playing. You can also use this video as a guide to setting up your NUX MG300 for automated patch switching.

I can't do it on Reaper, I mean, I can change between patchs as this video, but if I want to turn on/off a specific pedal on the fx chain in a same patch, i cant, i dont know which is the parameter to move on midi editor.

Hi there Joko. I am looking at buying an MG-300 and using it as an interface connected to studio monitors. Is there any reason why your setup with automated patch changes would not work in that situation? I ask as you have your MG-30 going both to your interface AND the computer. Probably a newbie question. Sorry, very much new to DAWs. Very nice playing, by the way! :-)

Question: Do you think its possible to controll the Tonex via the Nux Mg30? Tonex got regular Midi in outs..
Goal is to add the ToneX in the FX Loop from the Nux Mg30 and then change the presets of the Tonex or other Parameters via Midi of the Nux Mg30...
You think thats possible? The tonex doesnt have Blutooth or any other gimmick..just regular Midi Ports..
Is it possible to do a midi file of all the midi commands and send all of them via Multitracker app for example?

Not sure about Garage Band coz I don't use the software but check out if you can tinker around with midi cc/pc settings when you create midi regions using GB.

you can lower the latency if you lower the buffer rate in your DAW. 256 or 512 is what I use.
If your computer can handle the load, use 128

Doesn't work for MG300 :(
Haven’t tried with the MG300. Theoretically it can be setup but since the MG300 is still not USB C, data transfer may be a lot slower and would affect the user experience.
